In a word, this Kmart is dirty. The floors are not clean, it is overrun by unsupervised children and it is always about 80 degrees inside – in the dead of winter, the cashiers have big fans blowing cool air on them! They have far less inventory than their competitors and their prices are much higher than their competitors on some items. Shop at the competitor…don't' shop here.

I try to avoid going to this Walgreens (thankfully I just moved out of the area) because there is this one particular employee that always seems to be working the cash register by the door – she is so down on herself and pessimistic. Her small talk chatter turns into how miserable her life is and how Walgreens makes her life more miserable! I've gotten to where if she's working, I don't make small talk with her as she's ringing up my items – yet she still finds some way to tell me about her miserable life! Avoid this place if you can. Find another pharmacy!

This is a fun place to eat. It's a 50's style diner and the waitresses act rude – but it's all an act and you go there purposefully to be treated like that. It's kind of a strange concept – who wants to go somewhere where they are treated rudely? But it's all in good fun and that's the key. I've never seen this place less than packed, so be prepared to wait a while for your food. The food is average, but the atmosphere makes up for everything – the rude act is supposed to be funny, not insulting.

The clothes in this store are old and picked over, as are the household items. The store is usually unclean and the clothes are never neatly folded or hung. The checkout lines are long because there are never enough cashiers. This store is in a very nice shopping center, which is why the interior condition appalls me even moreso. Try a different store for bargain shopping.

I used to love going to St. Louis Bread Company for the free wireless internet, but now I go there because I love the food. They have a low fat chicken noodle soup that is very good as well as a whole plethora of sandwiches that are a delight to the taste buds. They also have bagels, croissants, muffins and other breakfast items and a large selection of cheesecakes and brownies for dessert. If only the free internet stretched over to my house….

I try to stay away from Fazoli's simply because it's so fattening! The food is so good that I can't stop eating it, especially when I get a bottomless bowl of pasta. The sandwiches are very good, but a quick check of their nutritional stats on the Fazoli's website reinforces why one should not eat them with the amount of fat grams per serving totaling quite high. I love how they keep the breadsticks coming…not only are they plentiful, but they are very good. I highly recommend Fazoli's but not if you're on a diet!

The best thing about Papa John's Pizza is the dipping sauce they include with pizzas and breadsticks. The pizza is average, but is so much tastier when dressed up with nacho cheese, garlic butter or a sweet marinara sauce. The food is kind of pricy, unless you go with one of the evening's specials and the delivery time can be more than an hour at times, but overall it is a decent place to order food from.

There is nothing unique or out of the ordinary about Dominos pizza or breadsticks. They do have good deals on their pizzas though and if you're feeding a lot of people for a party, they are the ones to go to with. $5 medium pizzas are a steal! Their breadsticks are pretty garlicky which is great if you love garlic but torture if you don't. They usually deliver very quickly and have the best delivery times of any pizza joint in my neighborhood.

Pizza Hut has the best breadsticks. It is my top choice of a place to order pizza from simply because I can't get enough of the breadsticks. The pizza is very good also. The flavors on the supreme melt together perfectly to form a savory taste that lingers on your taste buds and makes you want more. Their delivery times are usually accurate to their estimate at the time of your order and the food is always hot. I also enjoy the buffet bar during lunch hours – loading up on the breadsticks of course.

I scored a major deal on this hotel through Priceline and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of service and the room I received. The hotel is nice, with warm, cozy colors filtering through the lobby and sitting area. The room was on a higher floor of the hotel so we had a bit of a view, but it's mostly a residential neighborhood, so there was not much of an actual view. The room was actually 3 rooms – a living room area, a bedroom and the bathroom, which was nice so one could watch TV while the other was sleeping. The bathroom was very nice – modern looking with a large glass area for a shower that could easily fit 8 people. I highly recommend this hotel if you're in the area. It is right next to the blue line so it is easy to catch a train into Chicago.
