I grew up on Bob Evans sunday brunch dinners so when I moved to this area, I was stoked to see that there was a Bob Evans in my new town. Unfortunately, the service is substandard, which is too bad because the food is pretty decent. I have never had a friendly server anytime I've been there and had to wait for an employee to get off of a seemingly unimportant personal phone call to pay my bill one time! I went there shortly after giving blood one morning and needed to eat something ASAP - a biscuit or two would have been fine. I explained this to the server as soon as I was seated and the 8-minute wait for the biscuit was far too long - he seemed to not care that I needed to eat at that very second. I will not return to this Bob Evans due to the poor service I have received each time I've visited.

Eating at Ruby Tuesday takes me back to my struggling college kid days and I always enjoy eating there and reminiscing. The decor is always interesting with all kinds of unique and different things lining the walls. The food is average, but they do offer a salad bar that comes with any entree or you can order just the salad bar and eat off of that during your visit. During slow times, the lettuce has a tendency to get brown from sitting too long, but if you just ask someone, they will switch it out for fresh lettuce with no problem. It is a nice place to go on Friday date night.

Who doesn't love a good steak? While there is nothing overly spectacular about eating at Longhorn Steakhouse, it's a good place to go if you're in the area and are hungry for a steak. Food-wise it is just your average steakhouse, but the decor and ambience make you feel like you're at home, waiting for mom to put a meal in front of you on the table. The drinks are a bit kicked up and if you order anything with tequila in it, you may need to be carried out. I'd recommend Longhorn Steakhouse, but you probably won't be wowed from the dining experience.

Fast Eddie's is home to the $1 half-pound burger and it is so good that you'll wish you had room to eat another. The food is so incredibly cheap at Fast Eddie's, but I'm sure they make up for it in drink prices - and to eat the food, there is a one-drink minimum purchase. Still, no worries because it is a bar after all. There is always a very long wait for the food, no matter what time of day or night you go, but it's well worth it in the end because you won't ever find another cheap burger that is this good. They have a few other menu items that go well with bar drinks. Stop by on a Friday or Saturday night and even though the crowd will be shoulder to shoulder, you'll get to hear some great bands play.

There is always an interesting pizza on the buffet line - pineapple and ham, goat cheese and spinach, artichoke and whatever other gourmet cheese they choose. My favorite part of eating at Cici's is the cheesesticks! Who can't resist these ooey, gooey, buttery, oozing-with-cheese breadsticks? They're even better when dipped in marinara sauce. Finish out your meal with a slice of dessert pizza - usually apple cinnamon or brownie. If you leave and are still hungry? Well, that's your problem.

I love Bellacinos. The food is awesome; hearty and full of flavor. They have an enormous selection of grinders to choose from and a large selection of pizza to choose from. The portion sizes are pretty large and it's easy to split one grinder or pizza with another person to absorb some of the costs - which is a tad on the pricey side for the type of food served, but worth every penny. The wait time is a bit on the long side during peak times (about 20 minutes on a Friday night). Still, you won't be sorry you ate here.

Each time I have eaten at this particular Crackerbarrel, the service has been downright awful. Crackerbarrel's food is awesome, but loses it's flavor when it's served cold, which seems to be the norm here. Tables are dirty and the floor underneath is not clean - crumbs and spills abound. Servers seem to not want to do their job and it is a painstaking process to attempt to find someone to refill your glass for you. Eat elsewhere in this area!

The food is always fantastic at Qdoba. Think Taco Bell meets Chevy's for a quick, yet tasty dining experience. This particular restaurant has an outdoor area where you can sit in the summertime and bask in the sun with a loved one or read a book while you eat your mexican feast. The burritos are amazing and the quesadillas are even better. They will build your meal for you right in front of your eyes and you choose the toppings/fillings. A great place to eat!

This is my favorite place to get ice cream. The possibilites are endless and the ice cream itself is smooth, rich and creamy - even the fat free "sinless" ice cream. The serving sizes are huge for the price when compared to other ice cream stores. The songs and dances the employees do whenever someone drops some money in the tip jar really adds to the experience. Try the amaretto ice cream with brownie and peanut butter cups - you won't regret it!

I love Fortel's Pizza Den! They have all sorts of mix and match pizzas. First you pick your crust from a variety of crusts. Then you pick your sauce from a wide variety of sauces - the southwestern sauce is amazing and has a good bite to it. Then you pick your toppings and they have a few crazy toppings to choose from. You can get anything here from a traditional sausage and pepperoni to a chicken fettucini alfredo pizza. It is a relaxed family atmosphere with a couple of TVs showing the Cardinals game or the Rams game or the Blues game. You buy a souvenir cup whenever you purchase a beverage and you can bring it back for a cheap refill whenever you want. I have not tried anything other than the pizza on the menu because the pizza is too good to pass up.
