Houston's has a pretty small menu for a large chain type restaurant, but everything on it is quite good. They have salads, burgers, sandwiches, ribs, steaks and other american type items. The prices range from about $10 - $25 on entrees. There is often a wait on the weekends so go early. The spinach dip is amazing and a must get. They also have some good desserts. The quality of food and service here is always good. There is free valet parking available. The bar makes good, strong drinks as well.

The prices are fair when buying off the shelf but if you want them to do the printing on the invitations or stationery, expect to pay a small fortune. The people that work in here are generally not very helpful. However, if you need to purchase invitations today and don't have time to order them on line and wait for them to arrive this is your best bet in Atlanta. Parking is very difficult here during lunch and dinner times due to the restaurants in the area.

The Lady and Sons is run by the now famous Paula Deen and her two sons. The restaurant specializes in Southern style comfort food. There is always an enormous line outside of the restaurant so be sure to make a reservation. The prices seem a bit high, but after your first bite of food you will realize that it is well worth the money! Paula is often around the restaurant herself. The staff is extremely nice and dripping with Southern charm. If you're lucky, they will be passing biscuits to the people waiting in line. Be sure to try the hoe cakes for dessert! A++ all around on this restaurant.

Ted's Montana Grill features great food in a really fun setting. There is a nice, old fashioned bar when you walk in. The dining room isn't huge but is very nice. The burgers are just enormous. They specialize in bison meat, which is very similar to beef but is better for you. There are a number of specialty burger offerings. This is a great spot for lunch or dinner. Parking can be difficult in this particular location, however. Service is great and prompt. Definitely try Ted's for something new and different!

Stein Mart is one of my favorite places to shop for clothes for the whole family. The store is kind of like a TJ Maxx or Marshall's except that it is much nicer and better organized. The store also carries a huge selection of women's accessories, including jewelry, purses and shoes. The home decor section always has some great items, including lamps, frames, decorative accessories, bedding and small furniture items. There are often great deals on children's clothing and toys and men's clothing and accessories as well. If you sign up on their list you can get coupons mailed to you.

This includes gear, feeding supplies, diapering, clothing, furniture, bedding, toys, etc. etc. The store is a bit overwhelming when you first go there. Be sure to ask someone for help if you can find someone to ask. The prices here are competitive. The big benefit is the selection. You can also create a baby registry here and people can use this to purchase gifts both in store and on line. You must go here if you are expecting a baby or have a newborn.

Nuevo Laredo Cantina has awesome authentic Mexican food. Everything on the menu is great and the portions are almost large enough for two people to share. Given the portion sizes, the food is quite affordable. There is usually a long wait on the weekend but the bar makes great margaritas so it is nice to grab a drink and sit on the deck while waiting for a table. This is also a great lunch spot, but does get busy then too. There is parking available across the street. Service is good and pretty fast.

Honey Baked Ham makes amazing hams. You just can't beat the wonderful sweet and crunchy glaze on their hams. They serve a lot of people too and are perfect for the holidays or a party. Their turkeys are just as good and their side dishes and rolls are great items to add to your order. Some stores have a cafe attached where you can order fresh ham and turkey sandwiches. The sandwiches are delicious. The lunch, with a drink and side, runs about $7.

Ambra Restaurant has really good Mexican food. It is located a little off the beaten path so you really have to be heading here specifically for the evening because there isn't much else in the area. The food is very fresh and the service is prompt and nice. There is a full bar as well. The atmoshpere is fun and suitable for larger groups. They do a great job with the seafood dishes, fresh salsas and guacamole. This is a quick in and out place for lunch too.

Blue Grotto is a really neat tapas restaurant. They have a nice, diverse menu of tapas and drinks. The restaurant has lots of long benches, gauzy drapes and fun lighting. There is a full bar and creative specialty drinks. The food is all very good. I went with a large group and tried almost everything on the menu. It was all cooked very well. The portions are small, being that this is a tapas restaurant so be sure to order about three per person. The service was great.
