So you are wandering through Parkway Plaza and thinking about getting something to quench your thirst? May I recommend Surf City Squeeze? They have THE best smoothies! Lucky for you there are two convenient locations in that mall (one by Wal-Mart and the other by Tillys). Not only do they have great smoothies, but they also have a wide variety of other drinks as well! Enjoy!

I love the clothes at Gymboree! My biggest concern is the price tag. 35 dollars for a pair of pants that you child might wear for a few weeks or months (depending on the age)? Its a little hard to swallow. One plus is that all these super cute clothes end up going on sale, so sometimes its best to hold out if you HAVE to have something. Also, a few times a year they do their Gymbucks promotion, that is also a way to save money sometimes.

If you are looking for cheap but stylish maternity clothes, look no further. You can find great deals on the basics (jeans and t-shirts) to more dressy stuff, but buyer beware. The return policy at Motherhood is VERY strict and the clothes really aren't that well made. They should last you for the time that you are pregnant though, and for the price you really can't beat it.

I really like this B&N! First of all, its huge! I think the biggest one or one of the biggest in San Diego. From fiction to biographies, if you are looking for something in particular there is a good chance that you will find it here. They also have an awesome selection of magazines and lots of fun journals and cards to look at. Check out the bargain book section to find great deals on older, but still worthy books.

The sales people are always helpful and friendly too, so thats a plus, they don't hang all over you like in some other shops, so I really like that. A word to the wise: These purses aren't for the spendthrifts. They aren't cheap, but are so worth it because of the quality. Once you buy a Coach purse, if you take care of it, it will last you for years.

I have never, ever had a bad meal at On the Border! Here's a hint: You can order either refried beans or black beans on the side with most dinners, get the black beans, they ROCK! They also serve some good drinks for the 21 and up crowd.

You cannot go wrong with anything on the breakfast menu! Every other meal they serve is wonderful too. Anytime that I have ever had a problem with my order (once I ordered something that I really didn't care for, I don't remember what it was) it was quickly resolved at no charge to me. That is customer service! Get there early on the weekends, it is usually somewhat crowded, but well worth the wait!

I love Bath & Body Works! They have such great stuff and have pretty good sales everyone once in a while (they also have a HUGE sale twice a year). The sales people are SUPER friendly (which is a draw back occasionally when about four people ask you if you are doing ok or if you need help with anything), but I am pretty sure they are made to do that, so I give them the benefit of the doubt. Whats fun about this store is that you can test just about everything that they have, so before you spend your money you will really know if its something you want.

I shop at Mervyn's mainly because of the awesome deals I can find on children's clothes. With two growing boys that is very important. My biggest gripe about the store is that their customer service stinks. My latest encounter is when the sales girl walked away from the register to go to lunch without saying a word to me or anyone else in her line, I only knew she was going to lunch because her friend was waiting for her. That is only an example of the customer service at Mervyn's. Now if you are prepared for that and are willing to accept it, then I would recommend this store to you. If customer service is very important to you, don't waste your time in this store.
