Recently moved to a bigger place just west of downtown York, the Garden Café is a great spot for a quick lunch or special dinner. They sell gc’s on restaurant.com so go there first! Nothing really for the kiddies but they will try to accommodate. Atmosphere is great, prices are average, and service was fantastic. Will definitely go there again.

It is just a small little place, nothing fancy but the donuts are really out of this world! Prices are very good and service is always prompt and courteous! Favorites of mine include the chocolate filled but most of all the maple frosted – yum

Thinking this discount store might have some decent purchases, I was lured in by their colorful ad in the paper. Well, they should pay their photographer top dollar b/c the circular looked nothing like the junk in the store. Even in a pinch, they don’t sell milk or anything. Not worth it as all unless you are on a serious run for dish soap or some plastic lawn ornament. The furniture looks like it would break under the weight of a cup of coffee.

The service is fantastic and kids 5 and under eat for free – a nice perk! The food is always great – there is a made to order omelet station, carved beef, desserts, and more german food all around you! Be sure to show up early (like when it opens!) as the lines can get quite long. Lots of seating too!

Much cheaper than your golf country clubs. As a former member, I really do miss this club. I love fitness and working out and Five Seasons catered to that. The weight and cardio areas are huge with state of the art equipment. We were entered into a Gold membership when our purchased level was faded out. They gave us this with no additional cost which was nice. Employees were always great. Ate in the restaurant a few times and had no complaints. Initial deposit is too big but this can usually be worked out – look for someone who is leaving – you can purchase their membership and have no initiation fee

This grocery store has always exceeded my expectations. From the fresh pasta, the bakery (to die for!), and the basic grocery aisles, Heinens carries the finest products they can. Their produce is always a bit pricey but sometimes with iffy fruit (like strawberries) it is worth it. I love to stop there and grab a fresh lunch and sit in the always clean dining area. Thank you caring about your customers!

For reminiscing about the days of yore when Euclid Beach carried frozen custard (or so I have heard). East Coast Cutard continues the tradition. The vanilla flavor is tasty enough without any toppings or fancy stuff but if you’re looking for something, try the concrete which is their version of the “blizzard”. Cookie Dough is my favorite! Super creamy, prices are great too!

When I was a student at Case, I used to love to head up to Coventry for a Grum’s turkey sub. Whatever seasonings they use made it such a delicious sub! I sometimes would get the chili too which was very good. But, as time went by, the prices steadily climbed. I think it was close to $11-12 for a turkey sub the last time I went. And we’re not talking a 3ft. sub either. Just a regular ft long sub. Oh well, I will miss them!

Yes, the combinations of sandwiches are a little strange.. you usually select a meat and the rest of the sandwich consist of scrabled egg, coleslaw, and whatever toppings you select. The taste is just awesome. They use great coleslaw! Very casual place and prices are good.

All of the flavors are fantastic but my favorite was the coconut. It is a real coconut with pieces in the ice cream – not the artificial stuff. Great atmosphere – esp for the kiddies. Prices are ok but the portions are huge. Awesome birthday cakes too!
