Been here a couple of times. Each time I am shocked at the price for the ice cream and the little amount you get. Yes, the flavors are decent (this is the place where you get to choose your own toppings to get mixed into the ice cream) but just too expensive. Service has been so-so, usually a couple of teenagers around without any supervision waiting to get back to talking with their friends. The Cold Stone in Rock Hill is much much better and worth the price!

A small little hardware store with personal service. Very few of these are left but are well worth stopping in. I mainly go there to get my propane tank refilled – of which they carry to and from the car for you! There are some hard to find items here as well as the basics for tool and yard care. A small garden gift shop opened as a niche on the side – some cute gift ideas. I’m sure it’s a matter of time before Home Depot up the road takes away the business but hopefully they can hang on as long as possible!

Located in the Myers Park area, Pasta & Provisions is a great little Italian specialty store. The best items are the fresh, homemade pasta and foccacia bread (esp the one loaded with gorgonzola!). They sell quality deli meats and other hard to find items like buffalo mozzarella and fresh basil year round. Coffees, canned goods, oils, and sauces are also available. Prices are steep on the meats and groceries but it’s a niche store in a high end neighborhood – not a shock. Service is great – very kind and helpful. It’s worth the splurge

The guys in my family love KNK meats. Located in a shopping strip on the West side of Cleveland, KNK carries a huge assortment of deli meats plus a few standard grocery items. A small bakery is in the back as well. They have become known for their homemade Italian sausage in mild and hot. Prices are very reasonable and customer service is always friendly and helpful.

A hidden gem, this establishment lays low and serves mostly regulars who have discovered it. Prices are unbelievably cheap but the amount and quality of food far exceeds expectations. The greatest value is the 2x4 for breakfast – two eggs, two meats, two pancakes, and hash browns/toast for $2.19 the last time I was there. The owner, Kalid, is a wonderful man who really cares for his customers. Don’t miss the Belgian waffle either!

I’ve been to this establishment a couple of times. Their burgers are by far the best thing on their menu in my opinion. Prices are average. Atmosphere is that of a sports bar but the seating areas for eating were not overlooked and it is a wonderful place to bring the kids. They have a wide range of menu items and service was fine although we did have to ask for things more than once. Love the outdoor seating in the nice weather.

I had one service performed at this dentist which I was pleased with. Nothing out of the ordinary but everyone was kind and prompt. Then, even though my insurance would cover the entire amount, I was asked to pay and then they would send me a refund check. Not exactly the best business savvy in my book. Based on their proximity to me, I would continue to go there but by not being part of any insurance plan, should I have a procedure not fully covered, it would cost me more that “in network”.

Atmosphere was more like a bar with tables – go early if you don’t care for smoking as the bar gets filled later on. Service was kind and prompt but tables and such were a bit grimy

I attended the Belk theater for a children’s event recently. While the theatre was nice and seating allowed for multiple good views of the stage, I was disappointed in two things: The merchandise sold as part of the program was outrageously expensive. I expected no bargain but $9.00 for a sippie cup? Come on! Also, there was an intermission during the program where you could purchase food. Again, outrageously expensive! Once you purchased food, you could sit on the floor and dine away. Repeat goers knew to brown bag it ahead of time.

There is truly something for everyone at Freedom Park. From playgrounds and more for the kiddies to museums and running trails, this is a huge park just waiting. Plenty to space for picnics and barbeques available. Lots of tables too! They host some great music in the amphitheater and the art show once a year is well worth it. Just a couple of minutes from Prices Chicken Coop – take your take out here!
