Just don't expect every employee to know where things are or to even know what they are. The 40% coupons make it worthwhile most of the time, plus they have Lindor Truffles at every checkout to soothe nerves frazzled by the mega-craft shopping experience. Just don't think about the calories.

We've bought several Volvos and a Toyota or two from Bill Kidd over the past 20 years and we keep going back for the honest sales and the good service department. They recently moved to a better location with easier parking and accessability. They are very good about calling to let us know when our cars will be ready and if there are any other issues that need to be discussed. Service is quick, friendly, and efficient and their hours are very workable.

The Baltimore Coffee & Tea Company is a very pleasant place for a leisurely cup of tea or coffee. The selection is huge and they have some delicious pastires and things to have with your favorite drink. Service is friendly and quick and parking is easy. The location is central enough to be convenient but far enough off York Road that traffic isn't a deterrent.

Beadazzled is a good place for people who make an occasional piece of jewelry or who need help getting started. It's also wonderful for unique finished jewelry and other gift items from all over the world. Their book and magazine selection is excellent, as are their findings. Prices tend to be on the high side which doesn't matter much if you just do a few things now and then but you will do better with the big mail order places if you get into this bigtime. The help is mostly patient and friendly but can be a bit short during busy times. Metered parking on the street.

Tenpachi serves everyone from kids to old folks, all with pleasant and quick service, so don't be put off by the hip stylishness of the place! You can usually call and get an appointment for the same day if you don't want a particular stylist, but they do run on a very strict schedule. If you are more than five minutes late (maybe less?), you lose your slot. No exceptions. This is good though because it means you're in and out without a lot of waiting.

Drop off your used books and get credit for purchasing other peoples' castoffs! This is a great store if you're going on a trip and need some paperbacks for the plane. They tend to have a lot of Grisham type novels, romance novels, some sci-fi (Robin Cook types). Not so much great literature or even just better books---more the kinds of things that people read once and pass on rather than keeping in their libraries, i guess. But still, it's fun to look. The staff is very friendly and parking is easy.

Not only is this a great place to pick up some interesting reads but it's also a wonderful way to get rid of books and magazines that you know you're not going to read again but that someone else will surely enjoy. I can't bear to throw books away and it just makes me feel good to know that there's a way to get them to people who will read them. The store is well organized, quiet and clean. My only complaint about this Lowe's is that they usually do not have enough checkout lanes open and some of their checkers are very slow. But service in the rest of the store is good for a big box...
My only complaint about this Lowe's is that they usually do not have enough checkout lanes open and some of their checkers are very slow. But service in the rest of the store is good for a big box store, and I can almost always find what I need. Good nursery department with healthy plants. They are very conveniently located with lots of parking even on Saturday afternoons. If they would just add some self-checkout lanes, the store would be perfect.

Greetings & Readings is a huge store that stocks books, magazines, just about any kind of gift item you can imagine, cards, stationary items, toys, party supplies, etc. I find it a bit overwhelming but maybe that's because I usually go in for one type of thing and get distracted by all the other stuff. Their prices are on the high side, too. Parking is ample and there are a lot of other good stores in this strip mall so you can at least combine errands into one trip.
