Stinking Rose in a unique Italian restaurant where garlic is used as the base in all dishes. The aroma of garlic greets you as you enter the restaurant. Dimly lit with cozy booths, the food is excellent and service is great. The ravioli and gnocchi are scrumptious. To complete the meal that starts with garlic bread make sure that you finish it by having their garlic ice-cream!

Located in a strip mall in Tustin, Dosa Place specializes in dosas (crepes) a South Indian specialty. Brightly lit with violet neon lights the place is maintained well. They have a huge selection of dosas including dosas filled with egg curry. They have a number of chicken items too. Dosas are served with mint and coconut chutneys. We went during closing time one night, but the owner was kind enough to accommodate us and provided quick service even that late.

India sweets and spices is a small grocery store cum restaurant on Venice blvd. There are a few benches put outside for eating. They have a great lunch and dinner combos for less that 4 dollars. You can get roti, rice, dhal, salad and 2 vegetables of the day. You can see more Americans eating there than Indians! Its a very popular place and parking is very limited. Great place to pick up cheap Indian food to go.

It has a huge selection of clothes, electronics, furniture, home decor, purses, watches, jewelery etc. Make sure that you browse through all the shops first and get the prices. You can bargain for the best price. The shops don't charge taxes so its a great place to buy furniture. There is a shop called Hernandez furniture where they have a great variety of furniture and they deliver it to your house for free. Finding parking on weekends is a problem. They run free buses to the nearby school parking lot on weekends. They close by 4.00PM.

They have beautiful patterns for children's clothes if you are interested in designing your own dresses. They also sell decorative accessories like buttons, bows, flowers etc. They have great sale going on during holiday weekends.

Makahuena at poipu by Castle resorts is nothing more than a glorified version of Econo Lodge or Motel 6. Don't be fooled by the beautiful pictures that you see on the internet. This place has not been maintained well at all. It hardly looks like a resort. The kitchen in the condos have sub-standard appliances and dishes. The ocean view rooms just give you a small glimpse of the ocean seen through other buildings in front. Simply not worth the price you pay.

The Kapalua Villas is the best resort in Maui. They offer one, two and three bedroom villas with either a ocean view or golf course view. If you have the money go for the ocean view. It is simply out of this world. The villas have all the amenities you could ask for. When you check in at the reception they give you a small glass of the best pineapple juice you've ever had. The resort has a great selection of restaurants to choose from. The service is impeccable. You will surely want to make another trip to Maui just to stay here.

Villa Azure apartments is only a few years old and is very pricey. The apartment complex has beautiful pools surrounded by lots of trees and cabanas. The apartment grounds and office is quite impressive. The apartments themselves are not very spacious. The floors plan for the one bedroom is not very good. You would have to struggle to fit in a couch, love seat and entertainment center in the living room. The walk in closets are quite small and it is too pricey for the amount of living space provided.

Saladang with its funky interior is one of my favorite Thai places in LA. Great service and great presentation make you want to go back here often. Even some of my friends who are not great fans of Thai food have loved this place. The yellow curry rice is great. The waiters are pretty and friendly. Usually crowded on weekends. Portions are large and the price is reasonable. Must try for Thai food lovers.

Kan Zaman is a middle eastern restaurant in San Francisco. Beautifully decorated interior in gold and orange create a great dining atmosphere. The Arabian cuisine is had delicious dishes like falafel, kabobs, hummus and couscous. They have belly dancing on some days of the week. Be sure to check out the timings. The service is excellent. Make reservations for large groups. Try the exotic spiced wine. They even have hukkas to smoke.
