Hurry curry of Little Tokyo has a large selection of Japanese curries. It is a pretty decent restaurant. However, if it were placed basically anywhere else in L.A. it would be great. However, all around it there are so many better restaurants for about the same or less of the price. Nonetheless, Hurry Curry is a very good restaurant and should be tried at least.

It's a pretty good pizza restaurant but nothing great. It is the worst pizza place of all of Malibu but is still decent. However, they do have great subs. They also have a great lunch special where you can get two slices of pizza and a drink. Also, it is in a good area. You can go over to the market and buy one of the many drinks available to accompany your pizza.

Howdy's in Malibu is one of the best cheaper eateries in Malibu. Although, it is fairly expensive, it is well worth it. They are very quick and very good as well. They have a large selection of Mexican foods, most of which are great. It is also in a very good area (right next to a playground and a little courtyard where you can sit in the sun and eat).

Malibu Kitchen is a great deli/bakery/coffee shop/etc. however, like all other Malibu eateries, it is very expensive. Their Prosciutto di Parma sandiwich is my favorite sandwich in the world but it is also around 11$. However, they have cheaper items that are also very good. If you are in the cross creek area, I recommend Malibu Kitchen for sandwiches.

Nobu has the most incredible Sushi you can buy. However, it is also some of the most expensive sushi you can buy. But, if you have the money this is the definitely the place to go. Every single item on the menu is incredible. All the sushi tastes as if it had just come out of the ocean. Also, the staff is very nice (thus, they also expect a high tip).

Thai dishes is one of the best restaurants in Malibu for their price and their speed. They offer a wide variety of Thai food including all the classics (Pad Thai, Pad-see-ew). They also offer an incredible selection of sushi. Thai Dishes delivers and is very efficient with their delivery. There are two thai restaurants in Malibu (Thai Dishes and Cholada) and they are almost equal. That Dishes may have the upperhand on Cholada, however, because of their sushi.

Rocco's Cucina is easily the best pizza place in malibu. However, I've never tried anything else on their menu. Although their pizzas are fairly expensive, it is well worth it. However, daily, they have a lunch special which offers a good price. 2 slices of pizza and a drink for a very low price. In addition, the entire staff is very friendly and family run. Because of this, I dont not mind paying a little more to buy their pizza. They also deliver but their delivery range is not too far. Overall, great pizza place.

The restaurant is pretty decent most the time but during Happy Hours, it's incredible. From 4-7 everyday, Monsoon Cafe offers an amazing variety of things for half price. The best item on the Happy Hour menu is the salmon tempura roll (only about 3$). The restaurant is great, however, I only recommend going during Happy Hours because it can get fairly expensive. It's a very classy restaurant especially for being on the promenade.

This is one of the best informal restaurants in Los Angeles. It's a great place to take the family because cooking your own food on the BBQ's is a lot of fun for everyone. The food is incredible. The main meat platters that they recommend are some of the best meat I've ever had. If you're a vegetarian, there are a lot of things you can order including their incredible Bibimba. However, if you are a vegetarian I would not recommend this restaurant to you because most the food served there is meat.
