It isn't called Megastore for nothing. They have a pretty wide selection of movies and music, you can literally make a trip to Virgin an outing. They also have mini listening stations where you can scan CD's and listen to anything in the store. On the top floor, there is also a little snack bar, which I've never tried, but found interesting. Best time to go is when they are having sales. They occasionally offer some great sales.

I never knew steak could invike feelings of love until I visited Sullivan's. The service was excellent--the waiter was more than courteous, willing to answer questions or suggest a delicious wine to accompany our dish. If we had asked him to do our taxes, he probably would have done so, wearing an apron and a tie, daintily scribbling numbers onto paper. It was here we also discovered our favorite wine to date--Liberty School. This also marked a sad occasion, since the Liberty School we drank was from 2000, an apparantly more tasty year than the others, and also far less available. I can't wait to visit Austin again just to eat at Sullivan's and be swept off my feet yet again.

The minute I entered this restaurant, I felt like I had been transported to a world resembling "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon." The restaurant is designed with an asian artistic flair. The food is no different, combining unique ingredients with standard fare, making for some very interesting dishes such as the Black Forest Maki comprised of Eel, fried sweet potato, cucumber, and black tobikko. It's a bit pricey here, but definitely worth if you're in the Brookline area.

I remember visiting Kayuga the day they opened and eating very tasty sushi. I've since gone back on a number of occasions and been just as impressed. The service is always very friendly and the restaurant has a nice vibe. The prices are also very reasonable. A great place for an intimate lunch with a friend or a cozy dinner with a date. It's located right off the green B line, so very conveniently located for BU students and allston dwellers.

I should quit my pursuit of good mexican food in Boston because it doesn't seem to be churning out any successes. Tu Y Yo is another overpriced, not that great mexican restaurant. The food tasted either like it was frozen or came out of a can (in either case, something I could have done at home for much cheaper). The place is cute though and the sangria was quite tasty (like a mini alcoholic fruit salad).

I used to come here quite frequently when I lived in the Fenway area. In my opinion, the food here is no better than Brown Sugar, yet it is half the price! I recommend getting the red curry or the coconut soup. The portions are large and the food is affordable. A great place for a quick bite to eat Make sure to bring cash because they don't accept credit cards (the only downside). Oh and beware of the tourists during baseball season!

I've been here on a number of occasions, hoping Sol Azteca would eventually redeem itself, but this never happened. My husband comes from a Mexican Family and on one occasion he turned to the (hispanic) waiter, questioning the food. The waiter replied with, "yeah, I know how you feel, but it's just how they (New Englanders) like it." Even the waiter didn't like the food! To top it all off, the food is pricey and there is a minimum, meaning you can't come for just a drink or appetizer, you gotta get the whole shebang. The food wasn't terrible, but it is nothing like the Mexican/Texmex food in Texas and at those prices, not worth it.

I keep reminding myself to visit this little hidden restaurant again, but it so small and quiet, I keep forgetting. The restaurant is tiny, warm, and cozy inside. The food is very healthy and fresh tasting (ie. not a lot of oil or salt). The dish I had was a bit bland, but I'm not convinced this is a bland restaurant by any means. The menu is creative and offers a lot of interesting items. I will definitely be back.

I like to visit Goodwill every so often to see if there are any treasures to be had. My husband and I once found a vacuum there for $10 that looked like it had never been used. We are still convinced they sold us a vacuum that accidently belonged to them :) This particular location is a good one - they have a giant downstairs filled with electronics, dishes, and anything you could picture at a yard sale. I recommend it!

I never imagined Diesel Cafe to be as large as it is until the day I decided to walk all the way through. They not only have have good coffee and treats, but also a giant room offering a whole world of possibilities: pool. board games, etc. Most coffee houses typically have a corner filled with beat-up books and boardgames, but not here! Here the board games look as if they were just bought! Not one checker missing! Nothing like playing a game of dominos while being wired on coffee!
