All I can say is that this place is one of the best bbq places in austin. A coworker took me years ago when I was pregnant with my first child and all I can I say is that it is heaven. The brisket is so tender and everything is accompanied by the perfect sides. They have a banana pudding pie that is to die for! They serve your meat on butcher paper which is perfect because it gets kind of messy. This place is extremely clean and is a great place. I highly recommend this place for anybody that's looking for some delicious cooking.

I'm not happy with State Farm insurance, but I can recommend Mr. Moore. He has been my agent for about two years now and up until this point he has done everything in his power to make things as right as he can make them for me. His office is always available for me when I need their help and he is very accesible. His staff are always friendly and helpful even when I'm oh, so confused by all this insurance mumbo jumbo. They always take the time to explain things to me in a way that I can understand, no matter how long it takes.

I purchased my car from then in 2004 and I have gotten nothing but great service from them. They have honored the warranty every step of the way and have done everything in their power to make things right for me. I am very happy with my car.
The salesmen do swarm you the minute you park in front of the dealership...normally I'm not even out of my car yet...but I think this is probably normal for most dealerships.

The Austin American Statesman is the leading newspaper in Austin. However, I wouldn't say that it's the best. It sometimes provides a very one-sided view of the current events and editorial pages. However, despite that problem, it does provide comprehensive coverage of local, state and national news. The Statesman, as it is more widely known is available at most stores and sells for 1.60. It's a very complete paper that includes travel information, classifieds, sales ads, business and technology sections. their subscription rates aren't the best so don't get suckered in.

El Mundo is probably the best and most community oriented newspapers in town. It seems like they have the largest following and are everywhere. Their text and advertising is all in spanish; however it is a vital resource for the spanish-speaking population of Austin. El Mundo provides excellen coverage on local, state, and worldwide news; along w/ an important focus on community involvement. They often sponsor local events that affect the community. If you're interested in reaching the spanish speaking population, then this is probably you're best media outlet at this time.

Costa del Sol is a quaint little restaurant on the corner of 183 and Cameron Road that is all too easy to miss as your driving by. They are one of the few restaurants around that serve central american food, more specifically Salvadorean cuisine. Their prices are very reasonable and their food is quite good. Their pupusas are some of the most authentic that you will find and their Caldo de Pescado (fish soup) is a very light, delicious soup. If you're looking for something a little bit out of the ordinary, then go to Costa del Sol.

Jamba juice has some of the most refreshing smoothies in town. If you're looking for a quick picker upper and for an alternative to soft drinks, then Jamaba Juice is the place to go. They make all smoothies once you order them and they are made to your specifications. the prices are a bit steep, but they are so worth it because this isn't a can of sugar and syrup that you are buying. They are located on the corner of the gateway shopping center, by Whole Foods. Parking can be kind of a pain, but oh well, you might as well park far and walk!

If you like makeup and beauty products, then this is the place to go. It has an awesome selection of all the most popular brands available in makeup and all hair and beauty products. You could literally spend hours here just looking at everything. I love that it's a one-stop place for a many of the major brands of beauty products. They have great service and have staff all throughout the store to help you make a great selection. They also often, have a great coupon in the Sunday newspaper, along with their ad that can make for a great deal!

Lakeline Mall is the most recently built of all the malls here in Texas. It's only a few years old and has more an upscale ambience about it. It has an awesome selection of stores and shops and has every large department store nearby that you could possibly think off. One great thing about it is that it's just off of a hwy 183, a major highway. Traffic to get here from Austin is a killer during weekdays, but is definitely more doable during the weekend.

Although I do like Barton Creek because it has a really good selection of stores, I really hate going there. Why, you ask? Because it's way out in the boonies, for me! If you live down south, I guess this is not a problem for you, but in my case anything south of the river is too far south! Barton Creek Mall is mildly crowded at times, but it definitely has a more airy feel than Highland Mall. It also has a better selection of stores and has more of the pricier upscale stores that have become so popular in recent years.
