The clothing at Nothing Fits is not exactly my style, though I am sure it appeals to other people. The merchandise is targeted at teens and includes wifebeaters with provocative sayings. The upstairs level sells shoes -- a large selection of nice heels, sneakers, boots, flats etc. for good prices. If you're on 86th Street, it doesn't hurt to drop by Nothing Fits.

However, the clothing can get a bit boring and generic -- sweaters, jeans, cardigans, tshirts, etc. The GapBody line is moderately priced (cheaper than Victoria's Secret) and offers comfortable, simple underwear. The pricing is often the most extraordinary thing about the clothing. When on sale, the clothing is worth it. Otherwise, try another store.

Century 21 always offers designer goods from previous seasons at high discounts. They sell not only clothing (children's, men's, women's) but also housewares and shoes. The shoe department is fantastic -- you can find Seychelles for $30! They also carry bags (LeSportSac, Ill Parcel, and others) for lower prices than other department stores. The junior's selection is rather small, but there is sure to be something for everyone.

It also carries a line of beauty products and sells other lines such as Pout. The products are rather expensive, but the quality makes up for the price.

Manhattan Mall is conveniently located in the middle of Herald Square, near Macy's, Gap, American Eagle, Forever 21, etc. The mall itself, however, contains a small selection of mediocre stores. The three floors are relatively small and easily browsed through. The food court provides a wide variety of cheap food -- ethnic (Chinese, Italian, Cajun), pizza, Subway's, McDonald's, etc. I would recommend the mall as a nice place to have lunch, but not to shop.

Aeropostale is not a particularly exciting store -- it sells whatever is in fashion. The clothing is worth buying when on sale -- tshirts can cost 3 for $25, jeans $20. Aeropostale also offers a cute selection of sleepwear, socks and underwear. Seasonal items include swimwear and winter accessories (hats, gloves, scarves). Overall, I recommend Aeropostale for basics.

There is also a separate room where children can host birthday parties. The food is, as expected, fast-food quality, but is quickly served. This McDonald's also has the benefit of being located on 86th street, where many stores are also located.

They concentrate on techniques rather than content, which is commendable considering that the content of the SAT is of a very basic level. Although Princeton Review cannot guarantee anyone a 2400, it can definitely raise your score by a hundred points or more. The Specialized Science High School Admissions test prep class is also recommended.

Chipotle offers a wide variety of combinations of chicken, beef, beans, wraps, etc. The chips and guacomole are also highly recommended.
