7 miles North of Marienville, you will find a quaint place nestled back in the Allegheny National Forest. Summers Allegheny Trail Rides is one of many original CCC camps. (Civilian Conservation Corps)
The scenery is BEAUTIFUL, the atmosphere is fabulous, and the owners are awesome and keep the property looking tidy and original.
It has a BEAUTIFUL wood covered bridge upon entering the camp that reminds you of that movie BRIDGES OVER MADISON COUNTY. It is very peaceful and it is a place where I would love to take my children to seasonally.
The rates are AWESOME and the entertainment is just that as well. Personally speaking, the owners are the GREATEST people to know and they are VERY courdial and courteous to your needs.
