we accidently stumbled on this place when chez maman was full. boy, am i glad we tried it. great ambiance, food was divine and price was reasonable! i had the lamb stew dish. yummy. for appetizer we had meatballs. which was different and probably the yummiest meatballs ever! we didn't have reservations so sat at the bar and had our dinner which was just as good.

i was told the owner of this restaurant is the same owner as ebisu. so i tried this place and it was good. they have noodles and other cooked dishes. the soba was delicious and for the price even...

i went to piperade with a girlfriend for lunch. we work in the financial district and walked there. it was quite a walk but well worth it. the food was basque french food and divine. the decor is warm and there's outdoor seating. location of the restaurant makes parking possible. price was totally reasonable. would dine here definitely again! great place for a romantic dinner!

their name didn't sound very appetizing so i had no desire to visit their restaurant until i tried falstaff. finally went to plumpjack and it was just as good! the decor is not as modern or catchy but the food is as delicious if not better. i had the tuna tartare for appetizers and they came in cones. cute and yummy! for entre i had the salmon which wasn't fishy, at the slightest bit, and cooked just perfect!
