This is a family run funeral home who have an excellent caring demeanor. They are all very sympathetic when you have to deal with a difficult time in your life. They try and make it somewhat easier and do. They have a nice location right off of Route 8/25. Beautiful building that was redone when it became a funeral home. There could be more parking but if the lot is full you can always park next door in the Mullins Funeral home.

I have been going to this gas station since it opened. It's really nice to have a nice little gas station smack in the middle of the country! The owners are wonderful, honest men always going out of their way to please. Gas prices are competative. The gas attendants are courteous and friendly. This is a rare place where the gas is still pumped for you! I recommend A & F Mohegan to everyone.

I have used Huntington Glass in the past and have found the service to be good. The owner will call you back promptly when you leave a message and the service tech did come out to my home when they said that they would. I have also recommended them to friends in the past and they also had no complaints. They can get extremely busy for some reason in the summer so you may have to wait a while for someone to come out to visit you for your glass and mirror needs. I would still use them in the future because they do a good job when all is said and done. A little pricey.

This nursery school has been around a very long time and is very well established within the community. It is located within the Huntington Congregational Church in Huntington Center. The two owners are lovely as well as the rest of the teaching staff. Very good rapport with the parents as well. Good curriculum and the teacher child ratio is 10 - 1 which is wonderful. If you ask for you will receive a list of parent recommendations which the owner will be happy to provide. The only downside to this school is that the downstairs of the church where the school is located, should be updated because it is very old.

The owner of Hot Locs Hair Design will go out of his way for you. He always gives me beautiful cuts and makes me feel great when I walk out of his beautiful salon. I felt that his prices were good and love the convenient location on Route 34. Appointments are definately recommended even though therre is a sign on the door saying walk-ins welcomed. Staff is very friendly too.

My daughter recently had her end of the year party here after graduating 8th grade. This place is the best! They have horseback riding, plenty of walking trails, a beautiful huge, outdoor inground pool, a video arcade, and plenty of food being served all day. After her party she talked about this place for months and months. I would recommend that you call for hours as they very from season to season.

My husband and I recently visited here when trying to decide on a day care for our baby. Loved the fact that you had to be buzzed in for security but felt like it had way too many young, inexperienced high school girls working for them. We also felt that they had too many babies per one person. The director seemed nice enough as well as the staff but on our way out we didn't like the fact that one of the workers was pushing a stroller with about 4 to 6 children around in the very busy parking lot(shares parking lot with post office and very busy community center which the day care is in) We did end up going elsewhere.

The atmosphere at this hospital is unbelievable (music playing in the parking lot, a player piano playing in the beautiful lobby, to the smell of warm bread or cookies wafting through the hallways) The maternity ward is absolutely beautiful and I hear that that this is the place to go if you are going to have a baby. I have used the emergency room quite a bit between myself and family members and have never had to wait longer than 30 minutes. One Thanksgiving I sliced my finger open and had to have it stitched. I was home within an hour!! But I do have a problem with being transferred as a heart paitient to either Bridgeport or St. Rapheals hospital for certain tests that are not given here such as the cardiac catherazation or having an angiogram done. Especially when you are admitted into ICU. This hospital has really come a long way and has great care but I would think twice about going to another hospital especially for heart related illnesses.

I was a little disappointed when I stopped here to buy a ready made arrangement. Their was hardly anything to choose from and when I asked the salesperson about it she said that she could make something up but I would have had to come back to get it. This was not at all convenient for me. I was surprised because it was not a holiday and I was the only one in the store at the time. They did have a small selection of gifts but it seemed somwhat pricey. Very hard to pull out into traffic onto Huntington Street once I did leave.

I have used Attorney Fashjian for the past 10 years and have found him to be very helpful and professional when he has handled my real estate closings. His staff is wonderful, going out of their way to be helpful and when you call the office he will get back to you the next day if he is not in at that time. I have also found his prices to be extremely reasonable. The one drawback of this particular office is the parking which is very difficult - very small lot that is shared with a destist and a restaurant.
