My roommates and I were driving up and down Aurora on some bizarre mission one day, and after everyone was complaining about being hungry we just pulled into Burgermaster. The in car dinning was a great throwback. Pretty decent meal for $7.00 or less. Then we discovered the Burgermaster by U-Village. It's huge, and the pictures of the food are so faded they have to be from the 70's. Pair that with random floating islands obviously purchased from Costco to hold the condiments, a questionable salad bar and pictures of sandwiches that are actually just two sliced hotdogs, and you're in fast food heaven.

I ate at Andy's Coffee Break about once a month, from when I was little until I moved away. Every visit I got a grilled cheese sandwich and fries. Now I try to eat there everytime I'm in town and sometimes the waitresses even remember me and my quasi bizarre and childish order. I still enjoy eating there - everything from reading the classifieds and tidbits to the andes mint while paying my check.

Etta's is one of Tom Douglas' four Seattle restaurants and specializes in seafood. It's at a great waterfront location, and the food was pretty good. I got a simple halibut plate that was tasty, but if I recall the appetizers and desserts were even better. Good service, good cheese plate - close to the market and waterfront activities.

Pretty decent place for being sort of central Ravenna / North Seattle area. A lot less UW crowd because it's a little beyond walking distance unless your on the edge of the UD. Pool, games, etc.

It's a business that may be a bit off the map without a huge reputaiton, but totally deserving of your business. Check them out!

This take out fried chicken restaraunt is honestly mind boggling. I don't understand how or why it's so tasty but it's definitely worth the drive down 23rd. They don't have any seating and I'm usually too impatient to drive montlake traffic to get home and eat it so we sit in the car and eat like half the other people there. It's always pretty crowded but the line moves fast and they're pretty efficient. Good sides too, their rolls are like 17 times better than KFC.

But their other stuff is amazing. I don't know why they consider it healthy per say, considering it gives my digestive system a work out everytime I go. Totally worth it, of course.
Good Salsa, good wet burritos. Their sodas have the good kind of ice that look like little pellets. Mmmm, pellet ice. They're super nice and give you little pinata looking donkeys with fun Mexican names to mark your table. I believe they're closed on Tuesdays.

Ah, the Knarr Shipwreck Lounge. There's nowhere like it. The first time I walked in I was pretty confident someone might throw a glass bottle at my head, so it was an instant favorite. It's amazing....

It's run down, kind of smelly and has a lot of old regulars that creep me out; these combinations made it my favorite college bar. I don't think they have any top shelf alcohol, but they DO have shuffleboard. God, I love it.
