This place is supposed to be fairly inexpensive and claims to be one of the best in Utah. They touted their customer service, but when I went to them for service I didn't get any.
The front desk girl insisted that I had to use a salesperson to get help, but then when she went to find one, she said they were all busy. I gave her my information because she said it would be a while, but it didn't happen.

The Tracy Aviary is this place with lots of birds in it. It is in Liberty Park in Salt Lake City.
My mom used to take me there when I was younger and it was so fun. I loved seeing all of the birds and wandering around learning about them. Best of all, I loved the time I got to spend with my mom.
There are some endangered bird in the Aviary like eagles. There are flamingos and hawks and many other kinds of birds.

I have seen Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables here. As long as you don't have nosebleed seats, the show is great. The sound quality is great and I really liked them.
Phantom was definitely my favorite. My mom and I went and we both were impressed with the quality of the effects and the sound.
There isn't a whole lot of parking in the vicinity, so if you end up going, go early because it may take some time to find somewhere to park, and it may be pricey.

This has got to be the absolue worst mortgage company I have ever worked with.
When I was buying my house several different people kept calling me asking me the same questions and not communicating with each other.
Then, of all the dumb things, they were looking at the wrong documents, so a few days before my house was supposed to close, some lady calls me up to tell me that I am buying a house I can't afford so the load won't go through. So I ask her the details and it turns out, the house wasn't the same one I was buying. I explained that to her to no avail, but finally a day or two later some other lady sorted it out.
On the day I was supposed to close, about 30 minutes before closing, the mortgage place called to inform me that they had neglected to do all of the paper work so I couldn't close. Yes, I was very angry. I had taken off work, and I have movers set up, only problem is I didn't have a mortgage.
Finally I closed with them. Since then, my mortgage has been sold twice. The new companies are much better than that one.
Don't use them, this company is terrible for service, and it's probably a miracle I got my mortgage set up correctly considering they originally had the wrong house written down for my mortgage.

This is a fairly nice hotel. I really liked the beds. They were really soft and comfortable.
The hotel is located in Ogden's historic district. Unfortunately, there isn't much of Ogden that is actually functional. The mall nearby has been torn down and all of the businesses in the vicinity are vacant. The Marriot is probably about the only thing the city has going for it. I guess it's probably a bit rude of me to say, but I wouldn't want to live in Ogden. It seems to be a very depressed city with lots of crime and gangs. Truthfully, I would rather live in a high priced apartment in some other city than a house in Ogden.
The Ogden marathon is probably a good way of keeping the city going. It goes right by the hotel and seems to really help the hotel with business.
The service wasn't super great, but I think it was because the hotel was packed and it was cinco de mayo so maybe lots of people didn't show up for work.

We went to this restaurant last night before my mom ran a marathon and my sister ran a half marathon. It was supposed to be a yummy carb loading dinner.
The food was $10 or more and the restaurant was supposed to be more of a classy restaurant. The food wasn't very good and they weren't very kid friendly. They brought a high chair out for my sister's baby and the straps to hold the baby in were broken.
There was only one waiter for about half the restaurant so our water glasses were quite empty and between the salad and the main dish it took about 2 hours to get some food.
After we got done, most the people in or group went someonewhere else to get some food because the food just didn't cut it.
Since we had a large party, the waiter added his tip to the bill. I don't mind paying gratuity, but he added 30%. With such poor service, I only wanted to give him 20%, but at the same time, it probably was a miserable night for him since he had about 40 people to serve by himself.

When you're with a group of guys and they're in the mood for all you can eat, go with them here. There's tons of food in the sald bar and they can eat and eat.

When you're with a group of guys and they're in the mood for all you can eat, go with them here. There's tons of food in the sald bar and they can eat and eat.
The food is cheap and you can order steaks or just have the salad bar. You can have baked potatoes or cheese toast with the salad bar.
There are lots of options at the salad bar. Wings, cheap tasting pizza, and make your own tacos.
It probably costs about $7, plus a tip for the girl or guy who clears up your plates and brings you your drink.

I guess if you're in a romantic mood, this is a good place to go cuz it's an up close and personal place. It's cute and the staff members were friendly.

Since my insurance doesn't cover glasses and contacts and I needed both, I saw an eyemasters ad and decided to go there.
I scheduled an appointment and got in quickly. When I showed up for my appointment, I didn't have a long wait and the staff acted very professional.
They reccommended various frames and gave me opions on how they looked. The staff didn't try to sell me the most expensive frames, in fact when they found out I was paying out of pocket, they went around the shop and found the various frames that fit into my budget.
When I found the frames I wanted, the guy who makes the glasses went in the back and after a short wait, I had new frames and lenses.
I would go here again. They weren't too pricey and my frames have held up well for the past few years.
