Lots to choose from with some items you just can't find at Target or Wal Mart. Support the little guy shops and pick up a new teddy bear for your child...or yourself!

This is the perfect idea for an upcoming birthday, anniversary or a weekend getaway. There is so much to do here and everything is first class all the way. A great hotel, restaurants, spas, pool, shopping, you name it. There's also a live theater and comedy club. I think you will love this resort.

Well, maybe ol Tom was not as "goofy" back then, but who knows... The infamous Color of Money with Tom Cruise and Paul Newman used this facility for filming. A photo of their smiling faces adorns the hallway of Chris' Billiards. Even someone like me (a really bad player!) enjoys going here to shoot some stick. A lot of tables, reasonable prices, a small snack area with drinks, and lots of colorful people make this a place you should visit at least once. You will enjoy this classic pool hall.

Folks that have lived in the city their whole life are familiar with their full page ads that appear on the back of the Weekend Plus (Chicago Sun Times). They have some of the most amazing deals in town on everything from tvs, air conditioners, stereo systems and more. They are conveniently located and definitely worth the trip. Their staff is always helpful and knowledgable.

If your film is playing in theater one, then you're in luck. I think it holds like a million people (okay, I'm exaggerating on this one) but it's a huge room. It's pretty clean here, and you can get a good price if you go before 6:00, but if you are annoyed by teenagers, be warned. Because it's a few blocks away from the mall, you may get some goofballs running around at this theater at certain times.
They now have a great concession deal of 3 items for only $5. You can get a small popcorn, drink and candy, or bottled water with two other items. Some of the people who work here do a nice job and are polite and efficient.

I love my veggies, but spinach is not that high on my list. However...there is one way to get me to eat it - put it inside an Edwardo's pizza! For some reason, it just tastes great. All their pizzas do. They all taste fresh and delicious. I never thought it was possible to enjoy spinach AND pizza in the same breath! They serve some good appetizers as well.

They have so many cool costumes from which to choose (although prices are on the high side). You can also find fun novelty items including wigs, toys and even inflatable dolls .... if you are so inclined :)

I'm not that much of a meat eater, but when I'm at the Pier, I try and pay this place a visit because of their great meatloaf and angus burgers. Go during an off time because otherwise you will feel cramped. The server the last couple of times was super sweet and very efficient. The bar is right on top of the dining area so it does get smokey in here at times (which I do not like at all).

It's down to earth, friendly and lively. They have a nice bar area and they are usually playing some great music. It's kind of "hidden" which is great if you hate crowds like I do!

The food is good, although the menu is not very extensive. Prices can be steep at dinner time, but there are a few reasonably priced lunch specials. You feel classy at this place!
