Their prices are a bit high, but they often have sales which makes the stuff much more affordable. They've just started carrying a new line of American Girl products which we love as well.

We love to go to OMSI when we're in Portland. It's a super science museum. They have tons of hands on stuff for little to big kids and great displays with tons of information about all sorts of things. They also have a great IMAX theatre. At Christmas time they have a cool laser light show. They also have a neat show about the constellations and stars.

Kohls is a nice department store to shop at. They had a wide selection of clothing, bed and bath items, shoes and some toys and dishes as well. They are pricey but they do have good sales and often have great clearance sales after the season. They tend to carry higher end stuff than Sears or Penneys.

My daughter was born here and the hospital staff and everyone here were so nice. It's a lovely facility with modern up-to date equipment and procedures. My family was allowed in the delivery room and the Dr. and nurses just worked around them and made them feel very welcome and comfortable. Great hospital!

I've shopped here a few times and the prices seem higher than the other grocery stores in town. They do have some good sales but the ads aren't always in the weekly paper so getting the ads isn't as easy as getting other store's ads. They do seem to have good produce and other products. They do not have a club card so the price you see is the price you pay.

This is my all time favorite thrift store to shop at in Portland. They had the usual assortment of clothes, books, trinkets, knick knacks, bedding, etc. They have a different sale on different days of the week so you never quite know what bargains you are going to find. They keep the store clean and neat. There are no public restrooms here so you do need to plan ahead! And they do not accept credit cards - only cash.

I like to shop at Pick n Save for their sale items. They have good ads each week with some really good deals. I don't usually do all my shopping here, just shop for the good deals. They do have a nice produce section and offer a free piece of fruit to kids in the kids fruit club each week. They also have some nice organic and natural food items as well.

We've been going to Mennomonie Street Dental for the past 3 three years. Dr. Travis is great as I'm sure the others are as well. We've had some fillings done on the kids and Dr. Travis was so careful and gentle that my daughter didn't even know she had gotten a shot! He's great with kids and adults as well - in our opinion.
