Both my husband and I used AAA for many years. It's a great service- the prices are reasonable and the service is quick and reliable.
The plus side to AAA is that is is very portable. We've moved to 3 different states in the last 2 years, and AAA just requires a change of address. We've also had consistently good service in all three states. It also offers travel and car rental discounts that are not available to non-members. There have been times when I was able to reserve a room and rental car through AAA when there were no cars or rooms available through other websites (hertz, thrifty, orbitz).
I am not sure how it compares with regards to other companies, though.

Cheeburger cheeburger is an interesting place. It makes up for the lack of 's'es with a huge variety of shakes, burger toppings and extras.
Cheeburger offers a 22oz burger, which doesn't sound that big, until you realize it's a pound after cooking. You can get your photo on the wall of fame if you finish one, (or a 1/2 pound burger for kids) but the best part is getting the burger with any combination of toppings that you want, at no extra charge. (except for a few premium toppings)

Definitely a place for college students, as Gameworks features a bar, and lots of arcade games. Although minors are allowed in before 9pm, there's really not a lot of appeal unless you are going to hang out at the bar and play somewhat overpriced arcade games.
Still, there are a lot of games, and it's a nice place to hang out and talk.

It's a good place to visit if you happen to be passing through Hartford, and they have very reasonable prices on coats, moccassins and raw leather.

Service was good, and food was excellent for a pilot restaurant, so if pilots in the area are looking for another 100 dollar hamburger, check this place out.

The Golden Nugget Hotel is on the old strip, or Fremont Street. The Fremont Strip Experience takes place in front of the hotel, but the other major shows are located on the Strip itself.
The hotel is quiet compared to the other places on the strip, and might be more suited to older families looking to relax, drink and gamble a little. There are very few attractions for younger kids, and the hotel is not within walking distance of the attractions and shows on the strip.

The World Carnival Buffet is one of those things you must see if you go to Vegas. The selection is unbelievable, from fresh fish and crabs (on ice) to italian gelato, to spicy, unnameable asian dishes.
Although it is on the expensive side, many hotels and malls in Vegas offer couponst, so just ask before visiting the buffet.

The skate pass is a little pricy compared to other skating rinks, like the one at Brentwood Community Center, but is a good alternative to people who live in the city.
In winter, there is a big bonfire at one end of the rink for people who want to sit and rest for a while. There is also a bar/grill there for people who want to get a beer and a bite to eat.

The waitstaff is fast and friendly, and most of them have fun identifying quirks, like a funny mustache or a catchphrase. Do visit if you like seeing familiar faces at your hangout!

The customer service here is excellent! I had a problem with an order, and I received a call-back and resolution from them the very next day.
The only con is that it's difficult to get off or change the address on their mailing catalogue.
