This place is a nice looking restaurant as Pat has said already. I was also a bit surprised how nice looking it was inside and that it had table service. From the outside it looks more like a hamburger or gyros place that alot of folks would take to-go. The foods that stood out with me were the skillet ommeletes you can order or just about any variety and their fresh squeezed orange juice.

I believe this is their original location. I usually visit their Montrose Ave. location. The last few times I went there I used half off certificates I purchased online thru WLUP.

Their local news is not one of my favorites, the weather people that they hire are probably the best part of their broadcasts. Their studio is across the street from the famous Chicago Theatre.

They stadium- US Cellular Field is huge, state of the art and offers more foods and drinks than any sports stadium I have ever been to. It's like a mall within the stadium for eating and shopping for momentos.

Make it worth your while and spend the day sightseeing, shopping, whatever.... It's alot to pay but put it in perspective you won't have to give up your first born or anything(lol).

This place can get pretty crazy. I have been here for sold out shows before and they pack people in like sardines. Does the Fire Marshall know about this? Anyway they do get in some amazing acts; Punk, Metal, Rock, Alt etc... Some of the biggest names in the bus. have wanted to play here to "reconnect the the people" I guess. After playing giant stadiums it must be refreshing for them to go back to a club like this to remind them of their roots. Alot of up in coming bands play here as well in this no-frills club. You can often get free tix to these shows. I heard rumours it was going to close 20 years ago due to falling plaster. Let's hope they have done all the repairs needed. No seating is available on the main floor. Party on Wayne!!!!

Around here, we just call this radio station the wizard. This college radio station that's broadcast from the campus of Northeastern Ill. Univ. sure has gone thru some changes. I have listened on and off thru-out the years. It's hard to pick up at times. I don't think you can listen to them on the web. I don't think even they could even describe their current style. If you had to; you would say it's a hodgepodge of everything.
At one time in the early eighties before I attended here they were pretty well known for Punk and had some radical DJs.

This is a brand new stadium here in Chicago, and it's a welcome addition. It is in the spot where the former airport Megs Field stood. What a view! There's a beach behind the stadium, the great skyline and Museum Campus surrounding the facility. It's modern, good acoustics for an outdoor venue. It holds aprox. 8,000. There is no roof or covering, so they book the shows rain or shine. It's one of the best places to see live music.
