WTMX is called 101.9 "The Mix" here in Chi-Town. I put this station on once in a while but it did not get the honor of being in any of my preset buttons in the car. I don't care for their morning show with the locally famous Eric & Kathy, although I heard they are cool people in their personal lives. The reason I do flip on it once in a while in the afternoon is to hear a new or fairly new alt.rock/pop song(s) they are known for, then after a short time the station get's changed. It's a very commercial type station and too many of the songs on here are from movies or tv shows and are a bit overplayed. At least this station is not offensive in any way and plays some Rock!

Here is another Italian restaurant that I highly recommend trying. I have said a few times before that the red sauce (tomato based) is the key to having great Italian food. Yes, this is true, however the service, prices, freshness, getting the order right (hello!) are also key elements of a great dining experience. Yes, I also am aware that some folks don't like or can't eat red sauces, well I honestly don't know how their alfredo or other sauces are here because I always get the red sauces (either meat sauce or marinara). They score huge points on all of the above mentioned and they should they have been in business at least 25 years and any time I have dined in or had it delivered everything was terrific. This is a family owned business and their only location that I am aware of.

One of the things I enjoy most about Dino's are the great deals you find with their daily specials (for dine in and carry out). I really enjoy their pasta and meatballs, as well as their huge beef sandwiches. They also make a mean pizza pie that will satisfy the heartiest of appetites. The service is very fast and efficient. They have a small parking lot and street parking, and they will deliver. There best special of the week in my opinion is on Wed. ; pasta w/ meatballs, soup & salad for $6.95!(dine in only) The best part is that everything is delicious.

It's truly something to see the types of things you can find at Officemax. I used to just think this store was for people who run large offices and need to buy in bulk. Well, Officemax sells what they need, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that you can also find items you can pick up for your home. Whether you just need a new stack of paper, a printing cartridge, or some pens and a pad of paper, you will usually get great deals here. The people who work here are always very informed and able to answer your questions. I have purchased the large ticket items here as well (computer, printers) and been very happy with the products.

Not only do they have a lot of screens, but the theater is well maintained and very modern, it was built only a few years ago. Each screening room is not all that large however. The seats are roomy and comfortable with an excellent sound systems. I also appreciate the free (covered) parking and if you sign up for their email club, they will send you weekly updates of showtimes and even some coupons once in a while.

This is one of the best stores on the Northwest side of the city. They have a nice hot foods area where you can get great deals on their (Friday $5 pizza night) or most every day with their chicken meal deals - a whole chicken, two large sides and rolls for about $9. I also like their fresh fish department and their produce. They also have a large salad bar. The store is large and very well maintained.

The rooms are small and the sound and picture if pretty good however. The concession prices are also very reasonable. There is parking usually on Milwaukee Ave. and there is a city parking lot about a block away. The theater itself does not own a lot which is a drawback to coming here.

This is another one of their locations where I can always find something. I usually pick up a pair or two of their walking shoes or boots, often times for a great price. They are famous for 'buy one/get the 2nd pair at half off the price' offers. The men's selections are very good, and while most stores carry the same items, this particular store has a few styles not sold at other locations. I also appreciate the fact that I can shop around without being harassed by sales clerks every few minutes. We all know by now about Payless and their deals. Remember when Star Jones used to do commercials for this chain, she says she used to buy her shoes from here? How many folks actually believed her? What is up with that woman?

Whether you love their theme parks, cartoons, toys or movies, this is the store for you. Disney has consistenly created some of the most lovable characters (including Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck and a whole bunch of others) that have been part of all our lives. This store is something to see - filled with t-shirts, stuffed animals, mugs, and everything elese you would expect to find. Some prices are too high, but once in a while you can spot a good bargain.

Remember their slogan? Sears - the store where America shops. Well, I can tell you that's true for me. They are certainly the all around store for so many items. I find a great selection of men's clothes here, often times at good prices, as well as jewelry, household items, colognes, shoes, gifts for the family and of course appliances. Sears has some of the best appliances around and this store has always been reliable with good customer service.
