It probably won't surprise you that Firehouse photos and memorabilia line the walls of this once working firehouse in the heart of Evanston. Giant booths and good food have brought me and friends back on more than one occasion. The blacken salmon sandwich that I had was awesome. My friends were not as impressed with their food. There is a full bar on the main floor and a game room and bar on the upstairs level. I have been here three different times, once the service was not so hot but the other two times it was great. All three times we showed up it was at lunch time, I'm willing to try this place again in the evening hours and see how it is then. Maybe I will shoot some pool next time here.
