Then the Hair Company is the place to go. I only use Ron Norris to cut and style my hair. He is very, very good. He listens to what you are asking for and is the best hair cutter I have ever used. I love when he washes my hair. The massaging action just feels so good. It is my once a month treat. Ron gives great undercuts. I have never found someone that can cut hair like him. He is always so courteous and knowledgeable about what you should do with your hair. The salon is very nice and clean and pleasing to enter. The salon has plenty of parking and easy access to Dolley Madison or to Friendly Avenue and Market Street. Ron is there four days a week and does book appointments well into advance.

This office is great. I love Dr. Alan Ross. He has helped us to get my husband's cholesterol down. He has helped with a fungal infection and referred us to a dermatologist when he was not successful in treating a bad rash that would not go away. He has been great with sinus infections and ear infections. His yearly checkups are very thorough. They take most types of insurance. You must make appointments in advance as the office is busy and booked. But I have been able to call early in the morning when I needed to see a doctor and get into the office that day. The office is located in the heart of Guilford College with easy access to Market Street or Friendly Avenue.

We love this dental office. It took us a while to find them. We had tried several others trying to match the dental care that we had been getting in the Atlanta area. I had several critical things to look for - a dentist that wears the magnifying glasses to see your teeth and a hygentist that takes your blood pressure and measures your pockets around the teeth first before working on cleaning your teeth. Also the vibrating pulsating machine to get the tartar off of your teeth.
And we found all of these in this office. I like the way Dr. Adornetto lets her hygentists work part time so they have a flexible schedule. The dental care is expensive in this office but I think you get what you pay for. It is conveniently located off of Brassfield road.

I love going to this chain of Mexican restaurants. Their fajitas are very good. If you get the lunch ones they do not include the cheese, lettuce, and tomato, but the dinner ones do include these items. Also their salsa and chips are so very good. The salsa is homemade in the restaurant and it is the very best I have ever had. You can tell that they use fresh tomatoes and fresh cilantro. The wait staff has always been great to us even we were with a big group which is always fun. The location on High Point Road is not as busy as some of the others so we like to go there so we do not have to wait very long. The food has always been fresh and delicious.

I love the Kernersville Library. They have been so helpful to me when I was looking for something. They will get you books and magazines on interlibrary loan if their system does not carry what you are looking for. There are plenty of tables and chair to do research or to study. There are also lots of computers with a nice system to sign up for use. You can stay on a computer for 1 hour and print 5 free documents or you can use the one express computer for 15 minutes. They are in the process of remodeling so it is going to be better than ever. They always offer free income tax forms at tax time. Also there are special events from time to time. Easy access back to Main Street or to Mountain Street with plenty of parking available.

This library is one of the best I have ever visited. They have a great collection of books. There are plenty of computers to use to get on line and to do other tasks. The children's room also has an excellent collection on books. I love the boat that the children can play in. Their preschool WOW program on Saturday mornings is the best activity. The story times are great too for the older children. I have always found the librarians to be helpful and knowledgeable. I like the way they have crafts out for the children to do on their own. I also like the animals in the aquariums. My grandchildren always like to look at the fish. The puzzles they have out in the children's room is great too. There is a book drop off if you do not want to unload your children and take them inside. They have a good selection of movies to check out but watch your return dates or you can accrue some pretty hefty fines.

Tai Shan Palace has really good Chinese food. They have everything you could ask for in Chinese food on the menu. They have great sweet and sour pork. Also our grandchildren love the terakyi steak on a stick. They love the taste but think it is exciting to eat off of a stick. Also the shrimp and broccoli dishes are very good. So is the moo goo gai pan. We usually get our order delivered and it is so fast. The wait staff is very nice and courteous even to us Americans who ask questions about the dishes. It is in a convenient location in Warwick and they deliver to a fairly wide area. Easy in and out access of the restaurant onto Warwick Avenue.

This is a great place for fish and chips. It is nothing fancy just a good place for fish and chips and chowder. It is located in Oakland Beach and the view is great. Every time I have been here it has been busy. There are only a few tables inside with a few outside or you can order take out and eat in your car or at home. The food comes served hot and freshly cooked. We were also able to find some coupons which made our order even less expensive. It is different from places like Red Lobster. There is also a nearby playground where your children can go and play after they eat or even before and get them very hungry. There is a large wait staff that know the menu and can help you with your order.

They also carry canning supplies, light bulbs, plumbing supplies, and cleaning supplies including my favorite glass cleaner that is so hard to find. They have wire in a variety of different gauges. At Christmas time they carry a few toys including the Radio Flyer wagon. They even have some really small ones that are Christmas ornaments. They also sale grills- from the basic to really elaborate models. They are also a distributor for the Boy Scouts. Convenient location in Kernersville.

They have a huge parts department to service the mowers. They have a small seed department. I love to go in the Spring when they have baby chicks under heat lamps. They offer pine straw, fertilizer, chemicals, and lime. They even have tack and a few basic things for horses. In the clothing department they carry Carhardt. In the spring they will have onion plants from Texas, cabbage, broccoli, and a small variety of bedding plants. They have dog houses and rabbits pens for sale.
