If you want sushi downtown but can't bear the food court at the Corner Mall, go half a block to Samurai. They are open for lunch and dinner and the sushi is terrific in a relaxing atmosphere. Lunch specials will run you $9 with tip for two rolls and miso soup, and the tea is free. The staff is lovely. There is also a selection of wine and beer. Samurai is in the former location of Chicken Heaven, whose motto was "A Little Slice and Dice of Heaven" - thank you for moving in, Samurai. We needed you.
