Edible arrangement is a great concept . Basically its fresh fruit bouquets. So instead of flowers the bouquets are made of fruit. They are beautifully arranged and everyone who receives one is usually extremely impressed. These things really make a big impact. Plus they are delicious, with flower and heart shaped pineapple cuts, melons, strawberries, and grapes. Even the base that supports it is made of kale, so everything can be eaten. They can also put chocolate on the strawberries, which tastes really good. The pineapple is very sweet and better than most stores because the fruit they use is really fresh.
I have witnessed many people receiving them. You should see their faces light up. It really is a special unique gift that says “I Love You”. Also good for businesses and clients. They’ll eat it up real fast and feel very happy.

There is huge variety of foods, it’s a great global store with italian, mexican, eastern european, asian, indian, items for these and more. They have a fantastic deli too, if you eat foods from the deli. Lots of good things going on in this grocery store. If you haven’t been to one, goto this one. You will like it.

They even have a sign that said something like, 'some of ice creams have fat in them induldge at your own risk'. That was not it verbatim, the point is, if you're going to eat ice cream, get good whole milk ice cream and enjoy it. Nobody says make it a habit. This place will hook you up with a delicious cone for 2$, no messing with tax or change. That is a huge plus and a great way to do business.

King sweets has sweets, food, and fresh juice available. I was walking by and initially attracted by the sign saying fresh juices available. Why? Because fresh juice is one of the highest vibrational foods you can put in your body. And when you want your body/mind to run optimally give it this and you will soar. Now when I went in I ordered some dal and roti. It was inexpensive and hit the spot. The guy there was good, paid with straight bills no messing around with lame tax and coin change. I would definitely go there again for some cheap eats, sweets and to try the juice.

York and Grand Amoco is a fine gas station. This intersection has 4 gas stations and I pretty much always goto the BP here. It is kept clean and well lit. Appearance wise it is a very nice looking gas station that is clean. The pay at the pumps work nicely and you get your gas fast. They have squeegees with liquid so you can do you windows while you fill up. The store inside is small but very clean and well stocked with good cashiers. Prices vary but are usually okay. You might find one of the stations with a few cents difference but are you going to waste all your time to save a dollar?

Sri Ganesh is a small restaurant on roosevelt road. They are vegetarian only and have good food. I have had their saag, chana, uttapams, dosa,. I like their south indian items better. The uttapam is great. Uttapam is like a pancake made from blended rice and dal. If you dont know what dal is find out. Really awesome and the chutneys are delicioous. I recommended the uttapam to a friend who is not indian and he was like 'dang that was really good'
Vegetarian food can be very delicious, hearty and nutrituous if you try some different cultures food and find out how people live off it. And your body feels better after eating it. So give it a shot. Try a new restaurant out.

Patel brothers is a good store and has great service. If you’re shopping here on devon there are many grocery stores to choose from and all are pretty good so just pick one. Patel bros will have what you need. One time I went in there with a bag of Swad almonds –Swad is their house brand. and I wanted to exchange them or get refund because they wouldn’t soak properly.(Soak almonds overnight in water to get max nutrition and taste.) And these just weren’t spouting right. Anyway the manager there did not hesitate one second to offer me a cash refund. I didn’t have to explain or hassle or nothing. He simply offered it. That type of reaction to refund/exchange request is kind of rare with any store any business period. I didn’t even have a receipt. That stands out to me. Also I enjoy their selection of indian soaps and what not.

McCormick place is beautiful and enormous. You will get a good workout just walking through it. It is a world class convention center. You will enjoy your visit there. There is lots of parking available and things like shuttles will be there for large events. I spent a lot of time there at the auto show. It is a great facility. When you’re walking through the main hallways you hardly see anyone looking up, because its so high, but if you do you take a moment and just look at the lines and the way it is built you will find a pleasing building to the eye.

Westbrook market is a great grocery store close by 63rd and Cass in Westmont. They have great fruits and vegetables at great prices. If you like to cook different varieties of food they have what you are looking for. I’ve spoke with the manager, he is a good guy and they have nice deals going on always. If you’re in this area and you need fresh food, go here, you’ll get great choices minus the huge prices you’d pay at Whole Foods which is a bit east down 63rd in Willowbrook. Also if you like this place, there is another much smaller store called Natures Best, north on Cass. They also have great produce.

Great Trader Joes here. Trader Joes is a good place to get nice quality snack foods really. To me it seems like the whole store is made up of things to snack on. Which is fine. You can get some really delicious specialty type items. They have some organics and other fruits, vegs, the selection is small but its ok. When I go there I basically get things like cashews, organic raisins, ie..snack foods. You could do some real grocery shopping there too, prices will be a lot higher though. I would go and check it out if you've never been to one, you will like the experience.
