some stores i can go in and i immediately know that the buyer and i are in sync. Barami, I just get confused. half of the store, i know i could take home and would love each piece to death, and would adore wearing them... but the other half is so off the wall strange and out of nowhere.,... i don't know where they find them or why. regretfully, barami is expensive so there's no way i could take home even just the half of it i love. I'll have to settle for piece by piece.

I went to sam and harry's during the last restaurant week for lunch. it might have been the best meal I've had in years. everything was perfection. for the restaurant week price... 20$? 25$ I had a delicious 3 course meal, starting with a great salad, then the best steak I've ever eating, cooked to perfection, and ending with a phenomenal cheese cake. everything was perfect, and you can make reservations at opentable.com; i love that! they have a sister restaurant in DC too, but i don't remember the name... the caucus room? maybe?

if you want a delicious steak meal, this is the place to go. Yes it will be pricey, but you'll probably expense it anyway, and its the kind of steak dinner thats worth the price, great service, great atmosphere, great. pick whatever steak you want, it'll be good, but start with the jumbo crab cocktail appetizer. huge chunks of pre picked crab meat, with wonderful sauces, more crab than you need, but you'll eat it all because its soooo tasty. when picking a steak, I'd just go with whatever kind of steak you usually like... i did once try whatever their special was, a salad with some kind of steak on top, i should have known better... so i take the blame, it was of course not good. its not a salad place, its a steak place. order accordingly.

I had heard such great things about this place, so if anything, i was expecting a fancy steak restaurant, you know, white tablecloths soft lighting, etc. while expensive, the atmosphere was more that of a daytime bar... on the table were strange half pickled things... cucumber, okra, radishes.... and my food just wasn't great. it wasn't bad, but for the price, i had expected great or even really good... and it wasn't. the portions were small and just okay. I saw a few desserts pass by that did look good... but we had had enough and left without. on my next visit I'll start with chocolate cake and see if i have room for the nasty radishes. i suspect i won't

for some reason, this place is always packed... I'm not sure why, maybe other people like raw chicken and lousy food.... hmm. I got chips and salsa.... thats it. the chips were stale, and the salsa, eh. mostly red water with a few onions. thats not enough for the permanent ban. But my co-worker got a chicken burrito... with raw chicken.... he bit into it, spit it out, and sure enough, the chicken bits throughout were white on the outside pink on the inside. besides being a serious health violation, its disgusting. we left immediately, and the place has been put on a permanent ban. Check your food before you eat it.... or better yet.... just stay away

I love this place; they have a little outside-y area so you can sit in the sun, but you're not really outside so its not freezing, the atmosphere is so little Italy cute with the red checked tablecloths, you'll love it, they have pizza and pasta, good salads, I've never had anything disappointing, but i love to get and share a small pizza with artichoke hearts, feta, and basil, oh its so good. Also, they deliver, you can get their menu from their website and they'll bring you their tasty food. you must go, the service is great and the food is wonderful!

I am not a fan of buffets... I'm not. the huge room of food sitting out at room temperature and getting breathed on just turns me off. eww. so I'm usually not excited about visiting places like Soho.. but, for people like me, theres a grill in the back of this soho! With delicious sandwiches featuring brie and sun dried tomatoes! i had a very tasty toasted turkey panini with brie and tapenade, and all things marvelous. also, the 'market' part of the name refers to a wall of foreign-ish cookies and crackers and things. things you never used to be able to find in teh grocery store like nutella and toblerone, etc. its a nice addition if you want to bring snacks back to the office or something.

with such a cute name, i had high hopes for this place, but no. they were all dashed. I don't know where the sandwiches are made....but its not here. Yes, they have the case of pre packaged sammys... which I bypassed, and ordered a turkey sandwich with no cheese.... and was handed a pre packaged sandwich.... so depressing. my coworker got an unimpressive salad, we both threw out our food and went to the corner bakery for cookies instead.

I love the salad here, i usually get the signature salad with tandoori chicken, and light dressing its delicious. the bread is so tasty!!! I always munch on a couple pieces in line, and then save my piece for a mid afternoon snack. the long line is intimidating at lunch time, but it really moves very quickly, they're quite efficient. Seating is usually very crowd, esp in winter, but is not so bad when it gets warmer as there is some outdoor seating. I had never seen anyone else do it.... but i had heard that you can order smores there.... so.... on a weekend (so it wouldn't be so crowded and dangerous....) i did; they bring you a little fire pot and smore makings, and you actually roast your own marshmallows at your table, it was so fun! I'm surprised they let you do this... esp as I like to light my marshmallows on fire and have them turn black and charred before blowing them out... but you must try it!!

for picky eaters (like me) I love places like this! I am the irritating orderer who wants this salad but can i get it with these greens and that dressing, or this pasta, but could you switch the sauce with that one, etc. But, here, I get to pick my base (what noodle/rice, etc) and then add my toppings, chicken steak, tofu, whatever vegetables, and pick a sauce. its like cooking it yourself, only... you don't have to cook it yourself, but, you get to have exactly what you're in the mood for. I love this place because i don't have to feel like a jerk ordering, i get what i want, and i don't have to worry that irritated chefs are spitting in my food. :)
