I saw A Christmas CArol at Fords Theatre in November, The seats were only 25$ a piece, so I thought it would be lousy.. but it was great! The production was great, the actors charming, and the props and special affects were wonderful! I was so impressed! I would see anything there. Plus, before and after you can go to the museum downstairs that is great!!

I stayed at the Ritz Carlton in NYC on Park AVenue during the icy icy winter, and yes, the room was lovely, and I expected that, and the facilities were very nice, and all the people were pleasant enough.... the doormen were awful! I don't think they opened the door while i was there once. they um.. just stood there, until you had half opened the door, then they realized that they were supposed to be doing it.

I am in love with Brown Bag. The food is always fresh and delicious, but if you get something bad, you have noone to blame but yourself since you get to build your own lunch. I personally end up going overboard because you pick everything, and then additional toppings etc cost extra... I usually go in for a 'small salad' but after I add chicken, goat cheese, craisins, artichoke hearts, and peppers... I have a huge 12$ salad. but. its always delicious. Plus, the people are really nice and its a great place to people watch.

I thought it would be nice, but was a little hesitant when I saw their website, but it had lists of famous people who had been there, so I assumed it must be okay... but it wasnt. It is the most overdecorated room i've ever seen. If they were to strip down the trashy red twinkle lights, the plastic doves and flowers hanging from the ceiling (too low for comfort) the foam sculptures and ALL the fake flowers, it wouldnt be too bad... but it was. The food was in a word, awful. Everything tasted like it had 64 cups of salt in it... When neither of us ate our food, the waiter didnt ask if everythign was okay, or if there was a problem. he just brought the check. he didnt ask if I wanted wine or dessert either, which i did... so i had to ask for it. but alas, even the cake was dissapointing.

In FL, if you wanted something from UO, you had to order from the catalogue or the website, here in DC, I have two to choose from where I can go in and raid all the sale stuff! When they do have sales, they go crazy! last time I got 3 pairs of pants for 2.50$ each; the time before that, I paid less than 25$ and left with 4 bags full of books and household stuff.

I started shopping at Costco; the produce there is always much fresher than at the grocery store, and you can usually buy a huge portion for the same price or less than a single portion at the grocery store. Be careful though, I always end up buying tons of stuff I dont need... but i've never been dissappointed. Also, very good prices on electronics and household items

I have friends that love this place... but i'm not them! The food is okay, its too expensive for what it is, and there is always a wait! To go to lunch there would take 2 hours, and i'm too busy...

I got some kind of crab dip with crackers, and when i asked what they were, the waiter actually said "they're actually really gross, its processed fish parts fried into a wafer"

There is a RAnch 1 Chicken in the basement of my building, and I adore it! The people there are so nice, and they always make exceptions and substitutions for me. It's very affordable, and can be very healthy if you avoid the tasty looking cheese and bread. If you ask, they will grill up a chicken breast, chop it up for you, and give it to you plain; I like to get that and their hot sauce. Great for Atkins or south beach!
