The students there are generally caring, diligent, disciplined kids who exhibit a greater purpose of maximizing their high school experience. In addition, the prestigious International Baccalaureate program has attracted many top students from around the greater LA and Orange County areas. Definitely a top-notch public high school.

A friend of mine took me down to Mongols for dinner one night. Not only was it the best Mongolian BBQ place I've ever been to, but the unique method of stuffing as much beef, pork, and chicken as possible into one bowl was a blast in itself. The service was prompt, courteous, and satisfying.

Even before I got to UCLA, I'd heard of the famous Diddy Riese cookies - delicious yet cheap. Now, every time friends from other schools visit UCLA, this is the one place I make sure to take them to. And each time, they leave with bags full of cookies to take back to their friends and family. Definitely worth the walk down to Westwood (and the mere dollar for 3 cookies or an ice cream sandwich).
