I finished this book in two days. Completely engrossing. I just couldn't stop reading, I had to see what would happen next!

This book is impossible to put down! I can honestly say I've never enjoyed any other book more than this one. It had me laughing and crying. This book covers topics such as mental illness, dysfunctional families, and domestic abuse. An absolutely stunning read! This is one of those books that you can't help but to push others to read. I had the great fortune of meeting Mr. Wally Lamb while living in Connecticut, and there is not a more modest and humble, yet completely entertaining and intelligent man.

I love this place! I can literally spend hours in this store! They have so many books and magazines to choose from. They have chairs all around the place where you can sit and read if you wish. Plus they have the Starbucks inside where you can grab a coffee on your way out or sit at one of their tables and read one of your newly bought books. If you need help finding a book, all you have to do is ask at the information desk. And if they don't have what you're looking for they can special order it for you. They have great prices and frequent sales. This is truly a great store!

If you're looking for a particular book, you may or may not find it here. But if you're just looking to browse, it's a good shop. Plus they do have a decent selection of magazines.

This book had me laughing, crying, and reminiscing my own experiences in life. You get caught up in the lives of five women, who experience divorce, spousal abuse, and much more. It is impossible to not get engrossed in this book and with these characters. This is definately a book worth picking up and reading!

I don't know, but this book just wasn't for me. I tried real hard to get into this one, but I just couldn't. I found it to be boring.

This is probably my favorite place to go in Poulsbo.The staff is SO friendly and courteous. They have good prices and a good selection of books. I try to go here as much as possible! I don't know what I would do without this place. They have adult books, children's books, paperbacks, hardcovers, and antique books. Just about anything you're looking for! And as an added bonus, you can bring in your books and trade them in for cash or credit.
**Update** This book store has recently (June 2006) changed ownership and the exchange policy is not great. I recently went in here and was told that I could not use my paperback book credit on any trade paperbacks, children's paperbacks, etc. I can only use it on little paperbacks. So, in other words, if I were to bring in some trade paperbacks for credit, I could only use that credit on more trade paperbacks. If I bring in children's books for credit I can only use that credit on children's books. What a hassle! To top it off, when I went up to the register the other day to purchase a trade paperback with my credit and was told I couldn't, the employee helpfully suggested that I convert my credit to cash to purchase the book. I thought, "Okay, great!" Here's the catch....when she converted my credit to cash, my $22 of credit converted to $11 cash and the cash I had left over ($5.60) converted back to credit. UGH. What a rip off! Plus, this store conveniently "lost" a cash amount that was due to me from a previous book exchange.
I'm actually very saddened by all of this, as this was one of my favorite places in Poulsbo. I may be in here again to purchase books, but I will never exchange books here again.

I received this book, along with a slow cooker from my mom last Christmas. It is an easy recipe book. I have many of those cookbooks that are nice but need so many ingredients, that I never use them....
I received this book, along with a slow cooker from my mom last Christmas. It is an easy recipe book. I have many of those cookbooks that are nice but need so many ingredients, that I never use them. This cookbook is full of comfort foods with things you probably grew up eating, that now you can do in the slow cooker!

In the morning I will get out my Fix-It and Forget-It Cookbook, choose my meal and put it in the slow cooker. I then don't have to worry about dinner all day. This is the perfect book for busy moms!
