I just recently decided to try Huggies Overnites diapers and I am glad that I did. I have tryed so many diapers and none of them have held up and prevented leaks during the night until these ones. These really do work. My daughter stays dry all through the night. She sleeps a full twelve hours straight with no leaks!

I bought this to use for my daughter during walks or through the grocery store, etc. I had high hopes for this, but unfortunately it just didn't work for us. I found the carrier to be very uncomfortable on me, even painful, digging into my shoulders. I'm very petite though, so that may be why. I also found that after carrying my daughter in this, she would have bruises all over her thighs from it. I know this carrier has been great for other people, but for us it just didn't work.

Shortly after my daughter was born, we purchased the Graco Pack N Play for my mother's home. My mother and I, plus my girls will frequently have a "girls night" at my mother's home, so a bed for my baby daughter was needed. At first I wasn't sure if my daughter would actually sleep in this, but she took right to it.
The Graco Pack N Play has a bassinet part that snaps onto the playpen for babies 15 lbs or under. After the baby reaches 16 lbs or more the bassinet can no longer be used. The Pack N Play unfolds easily by locking all four sides and then pushing down the middle. You then place the pad on the bottom of the play pen and it velcros to the bottom. The play pen is just as easy to fold up by removing the pad, unlocking the sides, and then pulling up on the middle. You then "wrap" the pad around the playpen and that is your carrying case with handle.
After your baby is 30 lbs and/or 35 inches the Graco Pack N Play can no longer be used.

When my daughter was having recurrant colds, diaper rashes and more, it was found out that she had an allergy to milk. Enfamil Lacto Free formula is the formula my baby's pediatrician recommended for us to use. This stuff has been great. Immediately after starting her on this stuff, her symptoms went away. She has had no problems with this formula. It's priced just the same as the other Enfamil Formulas and for me it has always been easy to find in stores.

Huggies Natural Care frangrance free wipes are great. My daughter has very sensitive skin and I have a hard time finding wipes that won't irritate her skin. On a whim I decided to try the Huggies brand. These are good thick wipes and they do not irritate my daughters skin. They are a bit on the pricey side but not really any worse than the other name brand wipes.

I love my Evenflo Whisper Connect monitors. They work great. They hardly ever pick up any interference, and the sound quality is awesome. You really can hear every little breath your little one takes and you can hear it clearly. It features two pieces. The one you place in the baby's room plugs into an outlet and the reciever can be plugged in, or it will run on batteries. Leaving unplugged running on the batteries is nice, because you can easily take it with you into any room you go. It has a clip on the back as well, so if needed you could clip it to your pocket. The added plus to this is when you have the reciever plugged in, it charges the batteries. The batteries are included with purchase.

When my daughter was a baby and had started teething, I started giving her the Gerber Zwieback Toast. The first few times that she ate them, she did fine with them, but one time, the last time, I gave them to her was one of the scariest moments of my life as a mother.
I put my daughter in her high chair and gave her a zwieback toast. About two minutes into her eating it, I heard a gag and looked at my daughter who had her mouth open, wasn't making any sound and was turning blue. I quickly grabbed her and turned her over onto my arm and gave her some back blows. At first nothing happened so I gave her some more back blows and the piece of toast shot out of her mouth.
That was the very last time I bought the Gerber Zwieback toast. And I didn't give them to my second daughter either. Obviously some children have no problems with these, because they are still very popular, but my daughter did. At the very least for those parents that do decide to give these to their children, make sure you watch them at all times while they are eating (you should be anyway anytime they're eating). I personally do not recommend them.

I only used Pampers diapers with my first daughter who is now five years old. After much trial of other brands I decided that Pampers worked the best for us. They were great on leaks, overnight use, overall comfort for my baby. However, with my second daughter, we found they didn't work. I'm not sure if they changed the way they made them or what, but the quality of the diapers was/is not what it used to be. I purchased a mega size package of Pampers just to have every single one rip up the side while my daughter was wearing them, with all the little "crystal" type stuff from inside the diaper spilling out everywhere. Thinking this was just a fluke with this particular package, I continued to purchase Pampers 3 more times just to have each one of those packages do the same. Needless to say, I have since changed our brand of diapers.

Desitin Creamy is an okay diaper rash product. It's zinc oxide based and it goes on easier than the original Desitin. It works so-so on diaper rashes. Although it is easier to put on than the original Desitin, it doesn't work as well, as Desitin Creamy has less zinc oxide in it than the original one.

I use A & D Ointment on my daughter at every diaper change. This stuff is great for preventing diaper rash. It goes on pretty easy and doesn't have too bad of a smell. This stuff won't work that well if the baby has a rash already since it doesn't have zinc oxide in it. It's more of a barrier to prevent rashes from occuring and it works great at doing that.
