We've been to Carrabbas a few times now. Everytime the food is excellent. My favorite is the Pasta Weezie. Don't be put off by the name (I can't stop singing the Jefferson's theme song). What makes the food so great is the unique menu. You won't find dishes like these at Pasta House or Olive Garden.
So, what's wrong with Carrabbas? We'll my #1 pet peave is the bread comes without butter (the default is olive oil and black pepper). Easily corrected: Order butter with your drinks. Also, the service is a little slow, and the restaurant is loud and crowded. Solution: If possible, ask to be seated in a booth.
Finally, the menu is not very kid-friendly. This brings us to the title of the review. If you have young kids, then head on over the Olive Garden or Pasta House, and save Carrabbas for date-nite.
