Osh Kosh B'gosh at Discover Mills is another one of the stores where I enter and head straight to the clearance racks in the back. That is where you can find items up to 70 percent off (off retail price on tag, that is), and I've picked up a few cute outfits for my children. Osh Kosh clothes are well made -- especially the overalls -- and hold up as they are passed down from sibling to sibling.

Colonial 18 AMC is a nice theater -- probably 5-10 years old now, it's new enough to have a decent sound system and comfortable stadium seating. And, with 18 theaters, it shows a wide range of movies. Yes, all movies nowadays are expensive, and if you go for popcorn and a drink, it'll cost you. The good news is that it's an AMC theater. With my free MovieWatcher card, I'm always getting discount coupons, and free drink/popcorn coupons, and every so often I even get enough points for a free movie. Wahoo!

Has anyone else noticed that a lot of stores don't even carry dresses anymore? I was shopping at Kohl's with a friend this past weekend, and she was looking for a dress for a wedding. I know I've bought a dress there before, but after walking around the store and not finding any, we finally asked a sales associate and guess what -- they don't carry dresses anymore.
All that to say -- if you are looking for dresses, you may want to check out the Dress Barn, because as the name implies, the store carries lots and lots of dresses. The store carries a lot of different styles and sizes so you should be able to find something here. I haven't bought anything recently here, but maybe I'll check out this weekend -- I could use a new dress for Easter!

I went into this Radio Shack at Discover Mills when I was shopping at Christmas, and I was so disappointed. The store is set up weird, and it just doesn't look like they are carrying very much merchandise nowadays. I was looking for a travel adapter for my sister and they actually did carry one, but it was a very basic model and rather expensive. It had been a while since I'd been to a Radio Shack, but it was a very different store than what I had remembered... I doubt I'll be going in there again anytime soon.

We went to Keel's Tree Farm in October when the place had been transformed into a pumpkin patch. The pumpkins aren't actually grown there, but are trucked up from the farmer's market. The selection is great, and the prices are very good (better than most pumpkin patches around). The owners are very friendly and have decorated the area with Halloween decorations -- it's a great photo op! And the free hayrides were a big hit. We will definitely be back next year.

My mom loves this store, and is the one that introduced me to it. It's kind of a weird store, in that you never quite know what you will find there from one visit to another. They do have a weekly sales flyer that advertises new items that they have gotten in, and their prices are good, if you find something that you want. I've bought seasonal items there, baby items (baby backpack and sippy cups) and it's a good place to pick up toys for the many birthday parties my children attend.

I looove Target! I have to go to Target at least once a week to check out the sales and what's new on clearance. They have all the trendy clothes at very reasonable prices, and if you hit the store at the right time, you can get some great things at 75 percent off (like end-of-the season shoes, children's clothes, sheets, decorative items). It's a dangerous place for my wallet, though -- I rarely get out of the store without buying something!

As a child, my grandfather was a manager of a Stride Rite shoe store so I always wore Stride Rite shoes myself (and I remember him criticizing the few non-Stride Rite shoes I had as being of inferior quality!). Now that I'm a mom, I also shop at Stride Rite. I love how the shoes are made, and the employees are so helpful with sizing my children's feet and recommending the correct size to purchase. Luckily, this location at Discover Mills is a Stride Rite outlet and the prices are much better than what you will find at the regular Stride Rite store.

I shopped here during both my pregnancies. Although it's called an outlet, it really carries the same things you'd find at a regular Motherhood Maternity; what makes it an outlet is that there are usually several racks in the back with past-season or clearance merchandise. The maternity clothes at this store are trendy and attractive, and when on sale, the prices are quite reasonable.

The Samsonite Company Store is located at Discover Mills, and as you would expect, the main thing carried by this store is Samsonite luggage. However, it also carries travel-related accessories. The last time I was in this store was around Christmas, when I was looking for a travel adapter for my sister's Christmas present. I had already looked at several stores and hadn't found exactly what she wanted (at the price I wanted!); however, I finally found what I was looking for here.
