Ok, so now I remember why I shouldn't shop at Levitz. The whole experience was awful from beginning to end! Stay far, far away!

Ok, so now I remember why I shouldn't shop at Levitz. The whole experience was awful from beginning to end! Stay far, far away!
Went in looking for a family room couch set. I've looked everywhere and couldn't find one I liked, but amazingly, found a set here. To be fair, the prices are pretty good and you can negotiate. However, on the downside, it's just not worth it.
The salesgirl was kind of flip to us, but hey, even I can live with that...after all, it's a busy store, and it's not Nordstroms. But the real kicker, were the delivery guys! Setting aside the fact that 5 out of 5 pieces of furniture that I bought came damaged (yet another issue), when I pointed out the fact that the sofa (and yes it was the largest piece) had a major defect in it, the delivery guys started swearing at me and kicking packing material around, etc. It was obvious that they were unhappy about having to move the piece back into the truck.
Of course when I pointed out the other two pieces had flaws in them two, one of the guys decided that I wasn't even worth unpacking the other two pieces of furniture for me to even see it and said he was just going to take it back. (This is after about 10 minutes of swearing in front of me inside the house, and later complaining and griping about me while they were outside of the house, so I could hear.)
The guys tried to tell me that if they left it, the service guy would come and fix and if it wasn't to my satisfaction, they'd take it back. Of course, when I actually had customer service on the phone, they told me that it was my choice not to accept or have the service guy come, but if he came, he would make the determination if he was able to fix it sufficiently or not. In any case, not a direct translation.
Bottom line is that all the furniture came damaged and I felt physically threatened by the delivery people. STAY FAR AWAY!! Some things in life are just not worth it, and Levitz is one of 'em!

I just finished up a kitchen and room addition job in my home this afternoon and I gotta tell you, Kitchens Plus did an amazing job! My whole job ran flawlessly within the short, scheduled time...
I just finished up a kitchen and room addition job in my home this afternoon and I gotta tell you, Kitchens Plus did an amazing job! My whole job ran flawlessly within the short, scheduled time frame. They assigned a project manager, Dan Howell, who was awesome & the subs came in and out like clockwork. The engineer,Tom VanDeen helped plan out the whole project in advance, and was really helpful and available during the planning stages.
When all was said and done, I was left with a beautiful kitchen & Kitchens Plus was really accomodating to our needs. I've never run across anybody who didn't have a horror story about their contractor project, but I gotta tell you, this job was perfect! Highly recommend!

The Coho Cafe is a great place to stop for lunch or dinner while on your way out to a movie. There is a movie theater in the same parking lot. It is an informal type of place, with a good variety...

It is an informal type of place, with a good variety on the menu. A considerable amount of seafood and salads, etc. A little on the expensive side for what you get, but not terribly outragious. The fish tacos were pretty darn good.

There are tons of things to play with and it's all just for kids. Kids never tire of this place and keep wanting to go back.

The signature eye catching primary colors of Lego's will capture your attention from a distance. Walk in and your boys will be in heaven as they can view tons of Lego sets lining the shelves. They also have a few tables with Legos out for you to fool around with. There are some lower priced mini kits in bins around the store, but by and large the Lego kits are expensive, just like everywhere else. A fun place to see, but maybe not to buy.

I have a soft spot for soft pretzels. Auntie Annies makes some great soft pretzels. This place always seems to have a horrendous line, but it's worth it. But just get at least two to make it...

But just get at least two to make it worth standing in line. The best pretzel by far, is the almond pretzel that comes with some sweetened almonds on top. But don't forget the caramel dip, because that's what makes the pretzel.
Don't forget to look in your Entertainment book because there are always coupons for these little yummies.

A car dealership is what you'd expect. A place full of car salesmen. But after having shopped around a few places for cars, I think the staff at Toyota of Kirkland are somewhat higher on the food chain than at other places. They were definitely not as high pressure at this place, although they still tried. I guess that's what got us to come back, the lack of ultra high pressure sales tactics. Be wary, it's a car dealership, but it could be worse.

Good service and nice setting. Great place for a lunch date of a business lunch. If you're in the area, stop in for a bite.
