This website allows you to program your tivo over the internet. Often when I’m at work, I’ll search the online scheduling and click record, and this is transmitted to my tivo and later when I check, the program is recorded. Can’t get any easier than that. You can even choose what quality to use when recording, how long to save the program, choose priority, or even set up a season pass all from the easy-to-use online interface. Also, you can choose to get email notifications to verify these programs have been setup.

This set contains the individual season sets of all ten seasons of Friends. I had been collecting the sets individually before this came out, but ended up selling my seasons, so I could buy this, mostly for the BOX. The box is quite nice and well worth it. Its a wooden box that is heavy duty, with a hinged door that opens and closes magnetically. On the door is a pic of the cast, which you can see through onto the sides of each boxed set. Makes for a very nice collection. Highly recommended!

This is a great and accurate (hence the name) source for checking the weather. The best part is, they show up to 15 days in advance, as opposed to other weather sites which only show up to 10 days, and they are surprisingly fairly accurate. They break down the weather hour by hour, so you can tell exactly what time of day it will rain. My number 1 choice for finding out the weather!

I had my birthday party at this club at the end of 2004, and it was a nice place for a party. We had the whole front/side section which is slightly elevated from the main floor, and is right next to the bar. Towards the back is a large dance floor. The only downfall was, like many clubs/lounges in Manhattan, the line was quite long, and if my guests arrived after the guestlist closed, some of them never made it in since the line was too long. Also, while it was free for ladies before midnight, they charged $15 for the guys, even though we were quoted as $10 for the guys, when we had prior made reservations.

This is an online dvd rental program, similar to Netflix. You take a certain number of dvds out at a time (the number is based on which program you sign up for), and once you ship the disc back, they send you a new dvd. I prefer Blockbuster to Netflix for a couple of reason. First of all, Blockbuster is slightly cheaper per month. Secondly, they give you 2 free in-store rental coupons each month. Depending on how far you live from a distribution center determines how many dvds you can rent in a month. I have found it to be about a 3 day turn-around.

This website is hilarious. It contains stories about awesome pranks. My favorite one has always been a prank about Credit Cards and how cashiers rarely match your signature to the one on the back of the Credit Card. So this guy ended up seeing how far he could go with this, and would draw pictures instead of signing or sign “Mickey Mouse” or someone else. If you have some free time, definitely check it out, I guarantee you’ll be laughing very soon!

They list the shows in alphabetical order, and if you click on one, it lists the main characters, as well as the recurring characters. It then lists the names of every episode, listed in order and separated by season. Whenever I’m curious to how many seasons a show ran for, I always check this website. Also, each episode has a link to tv.com where there are detailed descriptions about the episode.

Also, you can vote on the tv shows that you wish to have on dvd, and these numbers help in getting sets released on dvd. Since I am obsessed with tv on dvd, I check this site constantly to see which new shows are being released. Great site, one of my favorites!

These drinks contain lots of alcohol so be prepared for a fun night. The food is good too, the ribs are yummy. Good for large parties too.
