I am lactose intolerant and so I can't have ice cream..I am now eating frozen yogurt. I"ve tried different places but usually the yogurt has no substance and it really has no taste. But Braums makes their yogurt so rich and delicious. It's now the only place I will go to get Frozen Yogurt. My kids also like it--they call the yogurt the "soft ice cream" so I feel like they're having dessert but it's a little better for them...

I use to take my 7, 5, and 4 year olds to the library to get books or to just hang out and read but they always got so squirmy becuase they had to be quiet and you know kids, if you say "be quiet...
I use to take my 7, 5, and 4 year olds to the library to get books or to just hang out and read but they always got so squirmy becuase they had to be quiet and you know kids, if you say "be quiet here please, they'll want to do the opposite. SO now I take them to half price bookstore--we spend about an hour there just in the kid section looking at books and the kids just like to sit and read quietly. They pick out a few books they want and read about them..then we usually end up getting a few books--which are not very expensive at all. The kids can still talk quietly but they don't feel as restrained.

I use to just go to whatever pharmacy was closest until one day I took my son to the dr on a saturday--not my usual doctor-and she prescribed him medicine. I took my prescription to CVS and the pharmacist asked me how much my son weighed and how old he was=---I told him my son was 5 and about 45 pounds. The pharmacist told me that he needed to check with the doctor because this prescription was too much for my son's body and could have really done damage to him. Immediately I called my regular doctor who gave me the correct prescription. I can't think of what would have happened..another pharmacy may or may not have noticed but since then, I am a big fan of CVS pharmacy. Their staff is very friendly and willing to answer any questions I have.

I really like Dr Henegar and all the people that work with him. My dental hygenist is Valerie and my kids also go to her. It's really nice because as Dr. Henegar and his staff have expanded their attitudes towards their patience have remained the same. It's very much a family atmosphere. When I go there my kids feel very secure with getting their teeth cleaned. Dr. Henegar and Valerie really do try their best to make it fun and let them know how important it is to brust and how to brush correctly. I'd recommend his office for both adults and kids.

My kids go to school at the Islamic School of Irving. Both my boys are excelling in school. My younger boy learned how to read in Pre-K. He's now in Kindergarten and can read chapter books--he started trying to read Harry Potter. The school offers outstanding Arabic and English curriculum. The teachers care so much about the students. The classes are small and the kids seem to enjoy learning. I am especially happy to know that I can talk to the teachers every day and they know exactly how my kids are doing in school.

The aisles are wide. I also like that in the dairy and the meat section, it doesn't smell bad...the other thing that I really like is the floral department--their plants are beautiful...I use to go to a florist but now I get them at Tom Thumb...

When I was going to get a car, I went by myself and really never thought that salesmen could be so belittling to women. I was so upset before I went to Westway ford. I went there and even called my husband to meet me there. I got there by myself and the salesperson started talking to me and asking me what I wanted..I wasn't sure..he said "well let's just take one that you like for a spin" When I was done I had completely fallen in love with the car--the Mustang..the salesman didn't pressure me..he just asked me if I wanted to look at anything else and I said I wasn't sure...he said "ok, if you want to look around by yourself that's fine or if you want me to show you some more cars that's fine too" I was so impressed...I ended up buying the mustang..and I know that with my next car, I'll seriously consider a ford and only from Westway ford

I don't know how I found Henry (owner of personal pest control) but he is great. His rates are very reasonable. He's friendly and fair. I thought I might have termites and Henry came out the very day to check it out. He is very trustworthy. My kids love to follow him around the house and watch him spray. It's even like a game now because they know they have to move all their toys so Henry can spray their room. Personal Pest control is very good. Henry doesn't try to upsell and tell you that you have things like termites when you don't like some other companies. If you're looking for someone you and trust and who is dependable...then I'd recommend Personal Pest Control.
