The Barnes & Noble on Atlanta Highway, Athens, is in a good location, with a Logan's Steakhouse, Olive Garden, and On The Border nearby. After dinner at one of these restaurants, I stop next door at B & N for a turtle espresso coffee while perusing the stacks of books. Barnes and Noble carries the standard range of books, from mysteries and romance to job hunting and religion. They also have music CDs and magazines, and a large children's book department. Their one drawback, is the $25 fee to become a rewards member, to receive a 10% discount.
