I bought my car here in 1999, and couldn't be happier with this business. The people there were very respectful, attentive, and considerate. The prices at Enterprise are on the cars and there isn't any negotiating, but these are program cars, or cars that were used as rentals. They are in good shape, and the cars all come with a 12 month warranty. I was given the choice of having my windows tinted at their expense, which I took them up on. I felt like the price was very good for the car I got, and I haven't had any complaints. I would use them again.

Mike Encinas is one of the nice honest people in this business. He treats every customer with respect, and will check anything you want him to before a trip. He is very busy, but if you have a problem and stop in, he is glad to look and see if he can squeeze your car in for a quick look. The prices are very reasonable, and they guarantee their work. Mike's shop has been in the same location for years, and he makes sure his mechanics do their jobs. I recommend this place to anyone who wants their car repairs done right!

The name of this store is a bit deceiving. Although Best does rewire things and has a great electric department, they also are just a good inclusive family owned hardware store. The service is great. They know their customers well. They are always willing to help with anything you might need. You can find all sorts of little nuts and bolts and screws and nails and knobs, etc. Then there is the paint department, plumbing, wiring, and they make keys - just a good small town store that has been there for years. The prices are great. I just had a lamp rewired for $11. They also carry garden supplies and many other things I'm forgetting. Stop in and talk to Rick or one of the guys, and they will be happy to help you!

I just ordered our ham for Easter from this location. I had never had one of their hams before. The ham was just as it was described. It has a wonderful sweet glazing and still keeps the salty flavor of a ham. The ham came already spiral cut and was easy to get off the bone. The owner didn't have a condiment open that I was inquiring about, so he gave me $2.00 off, which made me want to buy it. The ham was a good small size like I wanted, and it was very reasonably priced. I also noticed they serve for about $5.00 - 6.00. They looked great, and I may go back and try one. I also got to taste their turkey, which was also flavorful and juicy. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good ham or a nice deli style lunch.

This small family owned restaurant has become a stand by for me. Meals are very good, authentic, and reasonably priced. There are tables set up outside, and this place is very child and family friendly. They sell some beer and soft drinks. But the real draw is the food. There are salads, great appetizers, fun chips that are served to every table with wonderful salsa. The chips are fried whole so you break them up yourself! All the food is made when you order it. They are open all day, and you can get breakfast meals at dinner, which is nice. Mexican breakfasts here are very different. The staff is nice and work quickly, and the restaurant is clean and neat. This is a wonderful little Mexican restaurant!

The Philbrook Museum is a world class museum. The land and older part of the museum were donated to the city by Waite Phillips, an oil pioneer. The museum has great exhibits and tours are available. On the lower floor is the restaurant. It overlooks the fine Italian Gardens that go far down the hill. You can walk out to them from the restaurant. This restaurant has minimal offerings on the menu, and in my opinion, is limited in what they can do. The restaurant is small but nice, and often there is live music. On Thursday nights they have snack foods and wines and other bar drinks available for purchase. The museum is open until 8 PM that evening, so its a time for people to get together. The snacks are free and go very quickly, but people seem to linger and talk, and sometimes take walks around the grounds. Because the setting is so beautiful, I like to go once in a while to enjoy the gardens. As you might imagine, food is pricey. There is a Sunday brunch, for which you need reservations. I recommend this to people who haven't been just for the experience and the ambiance. This is a one-of-a-kind place, and a treasure.

This small, well-run store stocks grand cheeses from all over the world. Some of the best cheeses are from right here in the United States. I have tried cheese I wouldn't ever have had the opportunity to know about since being a customer. Anything that is easily opened, La Donna will let you sample. She also makes some of her own dips and rice blends that are amazing. I never tire of eating them. There are some nice kitchen things around for gifting or treating yourself, and aprons that are very cute. La Donna also stocks sauces of all kinds and jams from all over that enhance the flavors of so many things, and she gives you great ideas for using them all with cheeses. Then finally, she carries many different chocolates. They are all fun to try and are all different. She has a shelf of "Made-in-Oklahoma" products, as well. If there is something you want she doesn't have, she will try to order it for you! There's a lot to see in a small space, but that just means you get to come back again and again! Highly recommend this specialty shop!

Every Wednesday night, this fairly newcomer to Tulsa's restaurant scene serves huge hamburgers with either large cut fries or skinny-mini sweet potato fries - all for $3.00. Yes, its one of the best bargains around. The hamburgers are bigger than I would make on the grill at home. They have to be cut in half for me to get them into my mouth. They have lots of beers from everywhere, and even have a beer sampler with 6 or so small glasses. I don't drink, so all I have is water with my meal, and $3.00 is a lot of food and a fun time out. This place is very busy when I go, but the food is good. Lots of families meet here, probably because of the location. Don't miss this!

This is a Tulsa staple, and has been around the city for any years. If you like to cook, brew your own beer or make your own wines, then you will love this place. The owners have this small place stocked full of every little gadget and mix that will make any culinary expert happy. The smell is divine as you walk in because there are dozens of spice jars behind the counter with fresh spices, and you can buy them an ounce at a time for much less than you could get any spice in a market. And these are fresh! There is a small coffee and drink bar (non-alcoholic) with the lowest prices for a latte, and the people will help you with anything. They also have a whole section of hot sauces from all over the world. They are fun to look through and make great gifts! Great fun as a specialty store.
