Berkeley has a lot of specialty stores...but I think Avant Card is a major rip off...It's difficult to find any cards under $3 and there's nothing really special about those...the really cool ones...

Who spends $10 on a card?!!! But yeah...anyways...other than that it is a convenient place to go and it is close to me so it's great for last minute things...

I've lived in Baldwin Park since I was a kid and I've been going to this McDonalds since I can remember. But their service is horrible...Their employees just stand around taking their time...The food is not well prepared...(but then again it is just mcdonalds...) but yeah...this place has been losing more and more customers each year. I just wish they tore it down already.

There was really nothing else to do around where we were besides getting boba. Like the one in berkeley it has tons of TV screens playing asian music videos. Their boba drinks are the best though!

The food is alright...a bit pricey but I think its worth it given the atmosphere. I really suggest the alfredo with smoked salmon. It was soooo good! It was a bit out of the way, but there's lots of street parking available nearby.

I love going to the Gap in SF. There used to be one in berkeley, but now its gone. I love Gap's clothes cuz they're so comfortable. They are also very casual looking. I'm not one that likes being so fashionable. They offer great sales and when you apply for a Gap card, you get an extra 10% discount every first Tuesday of the month. The one in SF has 3 stories and contains all divisions of Gap.

I went to Sushi Ko last week and ordered the Seafood Lunch for like 8.99 and I got SO much food! In my meal, there was miso soup, salad, rice, 3 pcs california rolls, 4 pcs tuna sashimi, shrimp and vegetable tempura, salmon teriyaki, and a slice of orange...it was sooooo much food and so yummy too...the place has a great ambiance, its small and cozy and they also have nice and fast service.

Great Clips is a really cheap place to get your hair cut...it's also a pretty bad place...I've gotten my hair cut there twice and was not happy with the results. The first time was when I decided to donate my hair...They cut it off and left the rest of my hair uneven and weirdly styled. I've had several other friends who went there and left crying...It's not the greatest place in Berkeley, so beware.

I love the fact that the Safeway in Berkeley is opened 24 hours. I don't know if they're all like that, but ours is. This place is great in the day time, a convenient place for students to get food....

However if you go at night. The place is kinda scary. The lights are dimed to save energy...and there are a lot of people that shoplift around this hour...I myself have witnessed 2 shopliftings...and the security guards don't do such a good job at monitoring the store.
The food is not always that fresh. A lot of the veggies already have a great deal of brown on them...

The top floor has show rooms set up so you can decide what look you want your own room to have. Downstairs, you're going to be able to find anything from persian rugs to toilet bowl brushes. This place rocks and like costco, they have an awsome cheap food shop. 2 hotdogs for $1. Great place!

I think that's great but its difficult to find a specific book and the people who work there talk to you like you're some annoying pest. I love getting deals on books but I really did not enjoy it here...The prices are also not that great. Half Price Books on Shattuck has much nicer service and a much more organized system.
