Thirsty scholar is an all-around Cambridge-style bar sitting astride the Somerville Line. Kiosks like round table and stools punctuate the bar's walks hand dark decor. Like the name suggests, one comes here to an appetite for a night on the town. The fare is very middle of the road. They have the room here for name-talent and live entertainment. Unless they do that, this place will never be a headline name. But it's a good backup to the headline places and once you go, you are very likely to return.
