Located in the International District this place contains a wealth of information. If Asian history is of interest to you, this is the place. The exterior is very well kept and welcoming. Once inside, it is total fascination and a way to get lost in time for awhile. The exhibits are well maintained, well displayed and presented, and easy to see.
This is a must see.

This eatery is located in the Seattle International District. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a catching site. A tankful of beautiful koi fish, nice colorful koi. :) The atmosphere is appealing with its pink tablecloths and wicker furniture. It is well lit, too.
There's both an ice cream case and beverage case by the front entrance. This is convenient for the walkers needing a quick beverage.
The menu here is varied and reasonably priced. Portion sizes are ample and taste is delicious. I had their noodle soup with chicken, to go. Service was great.

Located on Bainbridge Island, this museum offers kids a great way to explore and learn about the rainforests, learn arts and crafts, and be exposed to various musical instruments.
I first learned about them when Bill Nye - the Science Guy - was giving a presentation in conjunction with them. That is great exposure.
Atmosphere is pleasant with room to maneuver in. There is a nice size lobby area full of gifts. The building has two levels. They could use more parking, though.
The building itself is very recognizable with its bright colors. Cool...

Prices are high and I do not like the fact that they do not have samples. I find that arrogant. I need to sample the quality before I purchase.
The exterior is well maintained and included along the Front Street walk area.
OK rating due to nice ambience.

I know the owners to be heavily involved in the community.
Prices are ok for an occasional treat and standard for the area.

Prices are good. In fact, this is a great place to go stock up on your picnic needs since it is so close to the Kingston ferry.

This is a wonderful place to visit the pets needing adoption. The location is out of the way, but provides a respite from the hectic traffic. Last time I went there was a pot belly pig in the 'farm area' that was fun to see.
Service is helpful and knowledgeable about animals. Of course, the nonprofit mission is worth the visit alone.
Prices are reasonable. Go and just visit the animals. Adopt, if you can. It is very touching to the soul.

I love the variety in here! The atmosphere is very inviting and I have been introduced to many new foods here. The service has always been helpful and loves to share their information. Prices are kind of high, though. I think that is to be expected in this area and with the specialty of the items involved.
This place has alot of hard to find and unqiue items in it.

I love this place!! I can stand there for awhile and just watch the antics. First time I was there, a HUGE monk fish was on ice and facing the customers with its mouth open. Of course, customers started to crowd around, whispering amongst themselves. An employee was behind the counter, waited for the most opportune time, and pulled back on the fish causing it to move. "AAAHHH!!!" screamed the women. That was my first experience here. Pure entertainment at its finest.
I would buy fish here only to support the business since it is an icon here. Plus, the fish is so fresh.
Perfect rating for entertainment value and fresh fish.

I do like the tuba player outside, though. He has been there each of the three times I was.
1 star rating. I cannot go any lower.
