Seven Eleven is actually a frequent stop for me. In the mornings, its a quick stop to pick up a bagel and coffee (yea, its not Starbucks coffee, but its affordable and not too bad either). In the summer, I go here for the Slurpees! Yea, I know, I'm not five years old anymore, but I love those cold Slurpees. They totally cool me down on a hot summer day. Plus, they have a great selection of magazines that I can pick up for my commute!

Where else can you get a menu with over 500 different wines to choose from? This is a wine fanatics dream come true. Not only do they have a great selection, but the atmosphere of this restaurant is great. This place is really cozy and very sophisticated.
Not a big fan of wine? No problems, because this place has an awesome wait staff that can give you great suggestions. It is realy amazing about how much they know about their wine menu!

I think this is an okay place to shop in the city. You can find a few outfits here that are nice, but most of the clothing here seems a bit strange to me. Some of the material patterns are weird and I don't think I would ever wear them. ONce in a while you'll find something nice here, but I don't think its somewhere I would shop on a regular basis. Their prices are reasonable though and their stuff seems to be of good quality too.

I agree, CVS pharamacy is definitely more preferable to Walgreens. It is just so much more cleaner and better organized. Plus, they seem to have better pricing here too.

Definitely take the time to sign up for the Extra Care card because you get savings from that plus you can get rebates on certian products.
I also love the pharmacy here. The pharmacists are real nice and they always get things done right and on time.

A few years ago I refused to go to Midway. It just seemed too far out and very deserted and unkempt. But recently, I had to go pick up a friend from MIdway, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that this place had improved much from the last time I had been there. It has been renovated in many diferent ways, they have a little restaurant there, and there are more flights out of there so it is very lively. Plus, I found out that fares are a lot better from here too.

This nice high rise that features studios, one bedroom, and two bedroom apartments is relatively new and many of their units are still for sale.
I know if I could afford it, I would definitely go for one of these! They have amazing views, the apartments are very spacious, they are built beutifully with great decor, and the location is perfect. Plus there are so many amenities just within the building. Oh, and even parking is free, which is a rare find in and around the city.
Definitely a place worth checking out if you are in the market.

This is definitely one of the best parks I have seen in the city.
In the summer, the main attraction seems to be the sprouting water fountain which kids and adults alike enjoy.

Then in the winter you have the ice skating rink which is so much fun. Go here even if you are a novice at ice skating. The atmosphere is fun and you will enjoy yourself either way.
There's plenty to do here all year round so I would really recommend this place to anybody who enjoys outdoor activities.

This is one of the few places in Chicago that do a good job with Organic foods. They have cage free eggs and they make an excellent omelette for breakfast or brunch. Plus, there is much more on their large menu. Everything I've had here has been excellent.
The ambiance of this place is also great. Its a hip and upbeat place that is fun to hang out at anytime. In the summers there's even an ouside patio which is really awesome.

Okay so this place charges insane prices on its clothing and its not that great either. Most of the clothes are funky tshirts and jeans and pants that are geared solely towards the teenage crowd....
Okay so this place charges insane prices on its clothing and its not that great either. Most of the clothes are funky tshirts and jeans and pants that are geared solely towards the teenage crowd. They have a good selection of clothing, but I still think it is waaay to expensive.
One thing I do like here are their perfumes and colognes. They smell great and are really not too expensive for such great smelling fragrances. So whether or not you are into the clothes, go check out the fragrances.

I have a bunch of friends who have gone here for undergrad. They got great educations here and always raved about the great teachers and the good education they got here. But I did here complaints...

But I did here complaints about the dorms and when I went to visit my friends at their dorms, they seemed small, cramped, and in need of renovation. Maybe things have changed since then, but a few years back that was the situation.
