Everything here is awesome! I love the food, and for special occasions like Valentine's Day they have a set menu with several different courses and wine pairings. Very romantic! You can order pre-selected or custom-made flights of wine, or order by the glass or bottle off of their extensive list. There's also a cheese menu where you can order flights of cheese or just opt for individual selections. I can get full just by coming in and eating cheese and wine! It's really that good, but it's nice to save room for dinner too.

I absolutely love every article of clothing here. I would buy (and actually wear) it all if I could. But, unless we're talking clearance items, the prices are a little high to even think about that kind of splurge. Compared to other high-end stores, the prices are not too bad but if you're on a budget you definitely have to limit yourself to just a few items. They do occasionally have decent stuff on clearance though so be sure to check back there, and sometimes there's a big sale where almost everything is on clearance so that's a great time to go. They also have very cute accessories that go great with many different outfits.

This is a nice sit-down restaurant/bistro that is open till around 4am and serves very good food and drinks until closing. Go in for a shrimp cocktail, calamari, and other specialties with a nice glass of wine - not many other places can offer nicer food like that at such a late hour. The menu isn't huge but quality definitely comes before quantity. The service is professional and you don't feel like you're being rushed or overlooked just because it's late and the staff wants to go home, like at many establishments. It is also not as snooty as it can get on Rush St. so for a nice relaxing meal or late date definitely check out Bijan.

I first came across this place because it's open 24 hours, but not scary or creepy or dirty or yucky or in the middle of nowhere. Surprisingly, it's in a nice location and is a nice facility with mostly nice people working there. I had never had an omelet before going here because I thought I wouldn't like them. Well I had the spinach/feta/crab meat omelet and LOVED it! I won't eat omelets anywhere else now. And they are so huge that you get really happily full. Just be sure to come with cash because they don't take credit cards.

There is a lot to see in this store, if you manage to find room to move. I really enjoy their natural/healthy/organic selections, but there are so many people taking up every spare inch that it's impossible to get near enough to the items to see what they are. The prices are rather high, but hopefully that reflects the quality of what they are selling - still, there are many of us that would like to afford those things but end up having to be really selective because it's not priced like a regular grocery store.
One thing that's nice and FREE is there are samples of products strategically placed throughout the store (again, if you can move). One day I tried 3 different kinds of bread, some cheese, Fat Tire beer, and gumbo soup. I would go back on a day I have a lot of time and at least scope out some more samples.

Potbelly's is a great way to have lunch quickly without resorting to fast food. The sandwiches are really good - I usually order the meatball. If you're carb-conscious, you can order it "skinny" and they will cut out part of the bun so it's thinner and thus less carbs. They also carry IBC root beer products which are delicious! And don't forget to grab a chocolate chip cookie - they are definitely addicting! The staff also seems to have fun working there and are happy to serve you.

Few places that offer delivery of their food items are good enough that you would actually want to go and sit down at their restaurant. This place seems to be the exception to that rule. Calo's food is great delivered, but they also have a nice dining room and good service. The pizza is actually pretty decent and so are their other Italian entrées. I also highly recommend the antipasto. It's easy to get carried away here and want to order way more than you have room for!

Seriously, I could live on it. The burritos unfortunately are a bit messy. Actually really messy. They fall apart real easy and then don't go back together. So I usually stick with a burrito bowl, which is really just as good and allows you to eat it with utensils. There's still the possibility of a mess, or maybe that's just me...
Anyway, they also serve beer if you are going to be eating in the restaurant. Depending on which location you go to and at what hour of the day, be prepared for some long lines. This isn't due to slow service at all, though - Chipotle is really just that popular, and for good reason! Everyone who eats there knows how great it is.
Occasionally they also have free burrito days. Be on the look out for those. (A free burrito is less messy than the ones you pay for. Haha.)

Ok, that doesn't include ages under 21 because they're not allowed, but besides that, there is no way to go to Howl at the Moon and not have a good time no matter what your age. The performers are so funny and so entertaining that you can't help but laugh. The music is catchy and will make you want to dance right along, even if you think you look ridiculous. There is a small cover, but I think it goes down as the night goes on. Plus you can buy huge buckets full of Hurricanes or Margaritas with about 40 straws sticking out and there's really enough in there to share with all your friends!
It does get really crowded however, so be prepared to stand if you don't get there early. But even if you get a seat you'll want to get up and dance around anyway, so it's not a big deal.

This place has beautiful decor. I was sat in a very cute private booth which felt very exclusive and special. I thought the food was excellent and successfully displayed what fusion is supposed to be all about. The service was also upscale, though could have been a little better.
Like everyone else though, I must say Opera is overpriced which really detracts from the enjoyment of such a beautiful place. While the South Loop is definitely an up and coming neighborhood, the prices seem to have up and come first - seems like it should be the other way around. I think ultimately Opera needs a reality check and should consider lowering the prices just a little bit, or increasing portion sizes and service standards or something. It's nice to go to once, but I probably wouldn't go more than that.
