The Seattle Weekly is a free newspaper that you can find in cafés or in newspaper stands on the street. It is an excellent reference for pretty much everything there is to do in Seattle each week. A new one is printed every Thursday. I use this every time I want to go out for an evening or to see what festivals are coming up. At times I don't agree with some of the movie reviews but its still a good reference for entertainment.

I always bring family and friends here when they come to visit. The sausage and fries are amazing and the atmosphere is extremely comfortable. The staff is amazing at getting you in and out in an efficient time. My absolute favorite is the Gumbo! You can replace your fries for the gumbo and have a really hearty meal. My friends and family rant and rave about this place and always want to come back when they are in Seattle.

I don't really know why some people hate the Fenix Underground but I actually don't mind it at all. I went there during 80s night and had a blast. I loved the open spaces of this club and not feeling like a sardine on both dance floors. I hate clubs where everyone squeezes together and where you can basically grab whatever body part you want. The band was awesome and there was a pool table on the top floor for those who hate dancing. The drinks weren't too bad either.

I really cant stand this restaurant. When you first walk up to the entrance it looks very quaint and special. Located underneath the street it has a cute little courtyard before you walk into the actual restaurant. Once you are in it becomes very dark. The food is disgusting! My boyfriend ordered a hamburger and it was very dry and not worth the money. I ordered a turkey sandwich and found that i could get the same dish at Dennys and it would be comparable. If you want to waste your money and time please go to this restaurant.

Pike Place Market is a place where tourists think they are getting the FULL Seattle experience and local "Seattlelites" avoid like the plague. When I first moved up to Seattle I had to take the tourist route and explore Pike Place Market. After 7 years I have never been back. I cant stand this area of Seattle because of all the tourists. For fresh flowers, fruit and etc. I usually head to Whole Foods or Trader Joes. Pike Place is overrated and to be honest I don't really even know what the big deal is? Men throwing fish is exciting? Ok.

I love this store. I wouldn't call these shoes designer stilettos but they are perfect for Seattle weather. I bought a pair of heavy duty boots here and they have maintained their look for 6 years. This company also has a lifetime repair policy. I have never used this policy because the shoes are so well made. Seattle is not the place to be wearing gorgeous heels and sandals. If you need a really heavy warm boot or shoe with style than I recommend buying a pair of John Fluevogs.

I used to live in the University District and go to this theater every once in awhile. The lobby is clean but every theater room smells like someone pissed all over the floor. If you want to have a pleasant experience watching a movie for $10.00 per person than go to the theater in Pacific Place. Its the same price and extremely clean! Parking at the Metro can also be a pain because there isn't much of it.

If you want to really dig deep into the artistic culture of Seattle I would highly recommend this film theater. It is AMAZING. The architecture is so profound that you will find yourself musing over every detail of the building while waiting for your film to start. What is shown at this theater are films done by local and international artists. The last film I saw here was a Self done by Caveh Zahedi called "I'm a Sex Addict". It was tastefully done with humor and a little drama. I loved it! So if you want to take a glance at what independent film makers are doing than check out this little theater.

I love this theater. A couple of weeks ago my boyfriend and I saw a play here entitled "Capitol Hill High" and it was a great experience. We have been to many theaters here in Seattle but have not been able to find a one that is clean and has great acting! This theater is very well put together. Located on the lower level it has comfortable seating and also serves! The play was hilarious and fit the Seattle scene to a T. If you want a mellow night out I recommend checking this little theater out.

This is an excellent store for 90 pound women and under. Some of the tops are really cute and may fit but the majority of the items in this store are for what I call "barely there women". The jeans are so little that I cant even imagine a 10 year old being able to fit into them. The accessories are really cool and come at a good price. I have bought a few tops there myself but the majority of the time I walk out empty handed. So for all you tiny little women I would highly recommend shopping here.
