I love this hotel. ITS BEAUTIFUL! I love the decor and always recommend friends and family to this place for a nights stay. Its a little on the expensive side but worth it. It was just remodeled a couple months ago and they did an amazing job. The staff are accommodating in giving you information and making sure your room is up to par. The restaurant below is really good and bar area is very impressive. There is comfortable seating and at times live music.

This is a small bar in the middle of the university district that is quite cute. I wouldn't recommend a big group of people to hang out here because its so small but its great for couples or some friends. The drinks are good and the atmosphere is really calm. I like having a small place to sit and chat and this seems to fit that kind of mood. The staff can be a little testy at times but hey, its Seattle!

Everyone has been begging me to check this theater out. When I finally got there I got a little ill from how the screen was positioned. Its an enormous screen that is shaped inward to give the audience more of an effect from the movie. I wasn't really impressed by this and didn't see what the big deal was. It felt like a normal theater to me only a little too overwhelming. I think I will just stick to the basic theater rather than get ill.

You haven't explored Seattle until you have entered this store. ITS AMAZING!!!! I actually went here for a field trip in one of my science classes during college. IT is filled with a ton of interesting items from Asian countries. My personal favorite are the dried fish that you can eat like chips. If you simply walk around this store you will find the most interesting food items. Its also a great place to find fresh sea food and Asian cookware.

I used to live on Brooklyn 4 years ago and walk here for my groceries. Back then it was a little shady but not as bad. I work on University Ave and go there for things every now and then. There is always something shady about this Safeway and I approach with caution. A couple of months ago my boyfriend parked the car out front and ran in to get something. I was thankful he locked the doors because two men banged on my window and tried to get in while I was in the car. My boyfriend came out of the store and they ran off. I was very shaken by this and am now watchful when I shop here. Its not the greatest Safeway in the world. Its extremely dirty, unkept and the produce is sad. So be careful when approaching.

For some reason I like this Tacos Guaymas better than the one on Greenlake. The food here is prepared differently and with more spices. The carne beef tacos are amazing and full of flavor. Their burritos are enormous and extremely good. The chicken tacos are ok but I highly recommend the beef. The decor is ok but you don't really pay that much attention to it because the food is so good.

My personal favorite is the Pagliaccio with pepperoni and onions. Their pasta salads and soups are always good. Its a little expensive for my taste and I only go every once in awhile. THe atmosphere is perfect with the Italian movie posters all over the walls. Its a great place to eat when you want to daydream while eating great pizza.

The chocolate chip cookies are not the only good items to eat here. The bakery goods are all perfect. All of their soups are hearty and good for you. They also make amazing sandwiches. They are not open on the weekends so make your stop during the week in you can.

I always try to avoid going to this Trader Joe's at lunch time. Its a small store and there are usually tons of people lined up at the sample section clogging up the aisles. Other than it being crowded I love Trader Joe's. Their bran muffins are excellent and there is a ton of cheap but good wine to choose from. TRY the pita chips, they make a good snack. I have also purchased the chocolate truffles and cant get enough of them.

I have taken my car to Les Schwab for years. They always get my car in as fast as possible and you cant beat the free service after purchasing their tires. The popcorn is not so great and I wouldn't recommend it. I usually bring a good book and wait for about a half an hour while I get my tires rotated. The best part is that they usually tell me if the notice something off in my brakes or etc.
