You may ask, "Why would a Manhattanite go into a massive chain restaurant like Red Lobster let alone one in Times Square?" The answer is simple, but comes in two parts:
1. the cheddar biscuits. I can't resist them.
2. I was a kid once and had a thing for Red Lobster. Every once in a blue moon I get a craving and just have to have some (and those biscuits...). I sit at the bar downstairs, order my seafood sampler, indulge, feel a bit too full afterward, pay my bill & leave. Sure, 99 times out of 100 I would rather eat at Manhattan Ocean Club, but that 1 time out of 100 the seafood lover in me wants Red Lobster and all of its chain-ness.
