Different Choices

Saturday, April 22, 2006
I often find myself at Lincoln Plaza (just north of Columbus Circle on Broadway) to see films that don't make it to the mass appeal large chain movie houses (Mrs. Henderson Presents, Ushpizin, Capote before it was deemed Oscar worthy). The theaters are small -- narrow rectangles giving just about everyone "center view" of the screen. They don't let you into the theater more than a few minutes before the previews start, so grab a coffee after you buy your tickets or sit in the small lobby and wait to be let in.
