Where Musicians Meet in Midtown

Thursday, March 09, 2006
Carnegie Hall is finally out from under its scaffolding veil! Thank goodness, because she is an architectural beauty as well as a spot for fantastic concerts by known and up-and-coming performing artists. You can hear world music, opera, symphonies, musicals...just about anything musical may be found in a year at CH. Check out Weill Hall & Zankel Hall for more intimate performances. The NRQ line is the closest to Carnegie Hall. Look on 56th Street just west of 7th to watch the mighty take a smoke break before a performance.
