This is a great place to try some Hawaiin fusion cooking. The restaurant is really upscale and sets a nice setting for either a meal with a date or a group of friends. I would really recommend their pre-set meals, which come with a good sorting of appetizers, main course, and some desserts. A few things that really stand out in that set meal are the coconut shrimp and the mahi mahi - you will be pleased! Overall a great place for a meal and another one of the outstanding restaurants in Chicago!

I have been to this restaurant several times for their Sunday all you can eat buffet. The buffet gives a good spread of Thai dishes and there are lots of choices for vegetarian eaters too. The buffet is pretty huge and everything they offer is fresh and tastes great. The only little complaint I had about this place was that our waitress was a bit slow and at one point disappeared for like fifteen minutes. Apart from that, this place is wonderful for a good and affordable thai buffet.

Navy Pier sort of defines Chicago. The pier gives not only a fantastic view of the beautiful city, but offers lots of things for people to do while they visit. I personally love the huge ferris wheel here. Go on a nice warm night with that special someone and enjoy the smooth ride and the breathtaking views it gives. Lots of great places to eat. Though many people claim this place is "touristy," I believe it is one of the greatest ammenities our city has to offer, not only to tourists, but to residents too.

If it is a weekend night, and you are craving Olive Garden, find a different location!! This place is crowded like crazy on weekend nights and the wait can be up to an hour. Once you get seated, the waiters can be a bit slow with getting things started and getting your food out to you too. But the food is always wonderful, so you can count on that. Plus, if you are waiting to be seated in the lobby for a long time, somebody will come by with a tray full of yummy samples to try. That's a nice relief!

I think this is a good brunch spot on a weekend morning. They serve lots of delicious organic foods here and their breakfast burrito here is pretty amazing. Though this place is called a "cafe," it has a very upscale restaurant style setting. So you can expect to pay for that as well. But you do get some great food and excellent service here. Just be a bit careful because it does get crowded here at times and then you may have to wait a while to be seated.

This is the best Lebanese food restaurant in the entire Chicago area! The restaurant is small, but very well kept. The entire staff is very accommodating here. Also, the menu is awesome. It features so many mouthwatering dishes, but your best bet here, if you are a newbie, would be the appetizer sampler. This sampler is HUGE and it will serve as a great meal for two people. Trust me, you will leave here so stuffed you will barely be able to walk. Do not miss this awesome restaurant.

If you are taking any big exam, whether it be the SATs in high school or the MCAT for med school, this place is really, really hepful. Either you can take set classes at their sites, or you can even go in and use their study materials and mock exams. Either way you do it, this place is always a great help and it usually really makes a difference on your test score. I would highly recommend checking them out for any big exam you plan to take.

This Dunkin Donuts location is great. It is near to lots of office buildings and write below the Kaplan center. Its a good place to get a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate and read a book or people watch through their large windows. But I must warn you, this place has stale donuts!! Everytime I have bought donuts from here, they have been stale. So stick to the drinks here and you'll be fine!

Everything on their menu is amazing, but I would really have to push the cheese fondue as a starter and finish your meal off with the chocolate fondue. Everything about this place is amazing and I can gaurantee that you will really impress your date if you take them here! They even have valet parking, so no searching around for parking.

So this is one place I really can't afford to shop at year round. But for that special occassion, this is definitely a place to check out. They have all those big name stores that will give you your star image, like Lord and Taylor and Marshall Fields. But make sure to keep plenty of cash and/or credit cards with you, or else you'll be walking out empty handed. There's also a cool food court in the basement, which surprisingly isn't all too expensive.
