Lost in the maze of clothes

I am not a shopper and I am not, especially, a clothes shopper. So, when a clothing store is just slightly complex, it is too complex for me.
I didn't know where to begin when I walked into the store. So, my stable datum? Sales Rack!
Off I went to the sales rack. Nice prices but lousy choices -- that's why it is a sales rack -- yikes.
I try on a pair of decent priced pants -- almost got 'em but the style just wasn't quite right.
Oh well, I favor Gap any day.
